Big Basin is an excellent place to visit. Really cool seeing the redwoods. I took the Sequoia trail and spent about 3 hours walking on the trails. Very cool. Now back to some software development. It seems that Opera has an issue with me writing <canvas /> and expects the closing tag. If I write it as <canvas></canvas> it is happy. Odd.

So after more research I find that technically the canvas attribute must have both a start and end tag so Opera is coded correctly which is good. However other browsers don't hold to the standard as closely as opera does. Of course the standard has a bit of flakiness to it which makes it even more interesting...
