Mind Mold

I just came across this and I it looks pretty cool. I'm a bit of a gadget person. Anyhow, Microsoft has a new product called Surface that's a 30-inch long table PC. It's pretty much a kiosk that's "smart". Put your camera phone or digital camera and poof, your photos are on the table. No need for USB cables or a card reader. You can grab the photos and resize them with your fingers, finger paint on the surface, listen to music, etc. by dragging elements with your fingers.

The Surface will first be available at hotels, casinos and other public places. I really like the Surface and would like to have one, but not at the hefty price tag of $10,000 USD. Microsoft plans to offer an affordable version for the home within three to five years, but I expect it to be something around $5,000 USD minimum...probably.

Since the team that developed the Surface is the same that developed the Xbox 360. Supposedly, Microsoft will also use the Surface for the gaming arena. How or what games...dunno.
