If people would open there eyes, hearts, minds and intelligences, then maybe just maybe this thing called humanity has a chance and these elitists will begin to be ignored and viewed as what they truly are. Opportunists, not philanthropists.
So on Friday I had not four , but five wisdom teeth extracted. Not to sure why, but at 33 a little nervous for some reason. I took the first of my halcion pills and the other one as well. This was at ~7:30 AM. By the tme I was in the chair at about 8:15 I was still pretty darn coherent. I was starting to feel the effects of the sedation but the dentist was like, where is that last half of the Halcion. I weigh all of 175 lbs, and it wasn't really hitting me too hard. After a few more minutes and the mask of nitrous we were under way. I was in and out. Things I remember hearing are as follows: "See this is a simple complication and skin impaction" "Can you really believe he is snoring" "That is two down with three left to go"
I rememeber my wife showing up to get me. From then on, ~ 9:45 - 10:00 AM I don't rememebr a thing. I woke up at 6 PM thinking it was noon. I heard our friend Brock out in the kitchen as he was to come over and help with our garden. Brock is a good friend that just got fairly dirted on by his ex. Some people I guess just don't see how good they have things and just want to either screw it up or are just rather clueless.
While in my haze I have been able to get some of the best rest that I have ever had in a while. At the same time, I have cut part of our lawn, walked the dogs, hung out with Dennis and taken him through a few stores before almost crashing. My sleep schedule is all sorts of off as the Lortab is just making me wired, but it is keeping the pain totally at bay. I just hope I don't have any complications prior to tuesday.
Apparently the dentist was given me a tn of instructions but I don't remember a lick of them or that the conversation even occurred.
Well I need to be getting to bed but I am rather wired and just wish I could crash. Although I was rather nervous this hasn't been as bad as I was led to believe it could be. I will probably be stiff and sore tomorrow, but o well. Life goes on. C'est la vie.
Came across his blog post. It seems one or two things are afoot. MS is showing those that tend to rely on M$ products not following standards or Intel/M$ slash whatever else it appends to itself, might have targeted AMD users for not having intel processors. I guess someone would go to court over it eventually.
Next, how does one sue the Oil companies for sticking it to us and getting fat from our insolence? I'm a huge advocate of sustainability of alternative energy sources and its uses, but dammit Al Gore, I want an apology. The US is finding a way to rely on anything but its own and soon I imagine a dictatorship will replace quote en quote democracy as we are too damn busy fighting for everyone else that we forget about ourselves... t
I think I am amused by all the persons that do software reviews of the various bloatware tools designed to eliminate (propogate) spyware and other sulliness as it pertains to computing. Many persons are just computer unaware and thus the movement of the 800 LB gorilla believing that M$ products should move to memory intesive slabs of 'purported' security enhancements. I have always been of the mind that there are 3 types of computing wizards. 1- Those that do everything in their power to maintain a pure machine and maintain an adeptness in their tools, OS and architectures of choice. 2 - those that aspire to be like #1 and just can't figure it out. 3- those too lazy to attempt to be like #1 or # 2 and pain friendships to have those maintain their machines. This happens mainly in the workplace. I have been questioning why so many of my office users sully machines at work and if they have the same problems with their personal machines. I fiind humans that interact with computers the most interesting types in humanity. just remember it take 7 lbs of pressure per square inch to take out a knee. It takes a fool to debaucle a foolproof system designed by the greatest computer engineers on this earth. Someone at my Educational facility had a signature line bloating that Vi$ta could work for me. I like OSX and am about to give Hardy hero a good run. BTW I love the ubuntu logo. It's sweet.
My wife is taking Chlomid and as such is a little bit all over. I hope we are successful in the next few weeks as I know she is perturbed and feeling a bit broken. I don't know how to re-assure her, but I think things will be fine.
Time for sleeps. Cheers.
Late addition:
Everywhere I go I'm asked if I think the university stifles writers. My opinion is that they don't stifle enough of them. There's many a best-seller that could have been prevented by a good teacher. - Flannery O'Connor
So, Liz discovered the 2nd knife in the yard since we have been here. One is want to wonder whether or not the previous owners knew what their boys were doing. I just don't understand the lack of involvement and not knowing at least what is occuring in general if not in whole.
Things are good. I think that we are going to try and visit some family for Mother's Day to see if we can get out of Cache Valley for a few hours. I had to work on Saturday to purge people for non-payment for their classes at the university. The perennial wheeping and wailing should be in full effect on Monday morning. Our office should realize its almost completeion this upcoming week. We will be at about 95 %, but all of our workers will be in their assigned stations with their new furniture and cubicles.
We are working on getting Liz's garden up and going. If the frost would quite being so erratice we could just cut it all the way out and get it turned over and going. I am interested in seeing if we can build it about a foot or so up above the ground and surround it with wood or footings or something. not entirely sure how to build a retaining structure but time will tell. Liz's mom finally called her which I am glad. It sure seems like Liz is the one making all the effort to keep in touch with her family although we are about 3000 miles away.
In the end things are really good and we couldn't be much happier. Liz is on Chlomid to see if we can get her body to ovulate so we might be able to bring another little one into this world. It would be awesome to finally have another one but i guess we shall see what is in store for us in the future.
