Just thought I'd do a quick post to let you all know I'm still alive!
Things are a bit hectic. I've been sick all day and I'm sure it's 'cause I've worked myself into the ground. Last Wednesday was my 33rd day working in a row, but luckily I got Thursday and Monday off! I'm absolutely knackered but not for much longer...

I got made redundant! Yep folks, that job I was actually loving is coming to an end due to the company re-structuring so as of mid-October I'll be back to a bum.

So I'll be a full-time barmaid until I can find something I want to do. I'm quite please about the whole situation though... I was a bit gutted at first but I'm seeing it as a blessing in disguise 'cause my redundancy package will clear all my debts from my first stint in uni and I can think about going back in the autumn to study something I want to do! Time to get my game-face on and grab life by the balls, folks!

Although, I'm not grabbing life by the balls in some other aspects, more like gently tapping it on the shoulder while it's rocking out to Slayer. My love life is officially a train wreck.
I really like a guy, but he's taken, the chemistry is ridiculous and I can actually see us being together. But he's taken. The good ones are all bloody taken. Or gay. Ridiculous!

Speaking of gay... it's Gay Pride weekend this week. Woop. I LOVE pride.
Hope you're out celebrating diversity... I know my size 5s will be dancing off to the greatest hits of Kylie while swigging Appletinis. For suuuure.

Hope you're all doing well. What exactly is going on in MyOpera land these days? I'm so out of the loop it's unreal. Gonna try and read some blogs tonight... it's been far too long. So if you're reading this, leave me a wee comment and let me know how you're getting on.

Things are stressing but starting to go really well. I was admitted to DePaul University for the program that I wanted and start there next week. Really looking forward to it. However, it is going to be a lot of work etc...
