flash, opera browser
Adobe Flash settings are still not working properly in Opera 11. You can Tab around, but there's no way to confirm settings.
Here's how to bypass that problem using web based messenger
imo.im as example:
imo.im asking to Allow or Deny access to camera and microphone when receiving request for voice and/or video chat. There's no way to select and confirm our choice.Go to
Adobe's Global Privacy Settings panel and select Website Privacy Settings (6th tab)

You shall see a list of all pages with Flash content you've visited. Find desired webpage, imo.im in our case, select it and choose
Always allow from options above.
Close Adobe's web page to save settings and reload imo.im. Next time you start or get request for video/voice chat it will automatically allow access to your microphone and camera without asking you to confirm.
WARNING! This setting can automatically send image from your camera and voice from your microphone when visiting page you set to allow. To keep your personal privacy use this setting right before starting video/voice and turn it back to
Always ask when you're done.

failbook, facebook
There are people out there who don't have Facebook account but will dare to say
Facebook is stupid! when they see pictures of Facebook statuses and comments like you can find at
Lamebook.
Newsflash! When it comes to Facebook's content, it's as stupid as your stupidest friend is stupid. On Facebook you choose who you want to add to your friends list, therefor, if you say
Facebook is stupid!, judging by a stupid post or comment, that tells a lot about you and who you consider a friend.
This stands for Facebook
content only, added by you and your friends, not even counting people with same interest. It's true that Facebook itself, as social network service, has many many stupid "features", but that's whole other story.

Bashi_B passed me this math teacher fail picture:

But me and
GODJonez came to a conclusion that 15 minutes is practically correct answer:
GODJonez: eh
GODJonez: that's cheating!
mistressEVIL: hmm wait, 15 COULD be correct answer
mistressEVIL: because Marie would already have technique on how to saw really fast developed
GODJonez: bent saw
GODJonez: it saws from two places at the same time but it is a bit harder to use, so it takes a bit longer
GODJonez: or just two saws
mistressEVIL: so PRACTICALLY 15 mins is correct answer.Theoretically, of course, it is not.

food
I've been baking couple days ago and again no photos to prove. But decided to write the recipe down for my friend Jon who's apparently loves to make magic happen in kitchen
You will need:
3 cups of same size
2 cups flour (I used spelt, white or any other is just fine)
1 cup sugar
1 pckg baking powder
some butter for baking pan
For filling you'll need:
fruit*
Dry curd/Pot cheese
250ml milk
250ml sweet cream
3 eggs
1 pckg vanilla sugar
* Original recipe used fresh grated apples, I used canned pitted cherries; drained syrup away. I also plan on trying using canned peaches.
Measure 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of sugar and mix them together with baking powder. Divide the mix in 3 cups.
Grease baking pan and evenly sprinkle content of first cup on it. Put fruit on top of that and crumble the curd over it. Strew second cup of flour and sugar on it and repeat; finishing with content of third cup on top.
Mix the rest of ingredients in a bowl (milk, cream, eggs, vanilla sugar) and slowly pour it over the pan. Let the flour soak for couple minutes then put it in preheated oven on 180C for about 45-60 minutes. (I suggest you check how well done is it at around 45 minutes with a knife if it's not still too soggy in center and burnt on sides.)

music
I seem to have a soft spot for cover albums.
Talking about serious bands doing covers seriously, not some random band that doesn't have (enough of) their own songs to play. Talking about bands like Me First and the Gimme Gimmes who play nothing but covers and bands that will just record an album full of covers. As long as it's not an album full of songs I generally dislike (for example Zebrahead - Panty raid).
And what's so good about cover albums?
They are either instant sing-a-long, considering you know the songs from before or, if you really like the songs, end up checking for original versions and discover new bands. Same goes for mix tapes, OSTs and other compilations. Video and music streaming pages and services are great for such thing.
Current cover album I'm addicted to is first piece of 99 Songs of Revolution. I woke up in middle of the night with one of the songs playing on my mind couple times and I only knew couple of songs from before.
I might make a list of cover albums worth mentioning one day.

Doctor Who
HAYDON: Point is, what was this room used for?
JAMIE: Well, possibly for raising caterpillars, like this one.
HAYDON: Hey, for heavens sake watch out until we know what it is.
JAMIE: Och, it's as dead as a stone. That's actually a
Cybermat, cyborg used as advance guards and plague carriers by the Cybermen.

And seeing a bunch of Cybermats after "complete metal breakdown", they sure look like dusters. Where can I get one?

food, cooking
Fact: Cooking with love results in happy food.
I'd be quite sad if I wouldn't make even a little contribution to the idea I served about Blogging challenge on kitchen action, but since I will barely find time to eat this weekend, yet alone to cook, here's all I have to serve.
