How can this be?

Quote: By uploading Content to Opera’s site, you grant Opera an unrestricted, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute such material in any manner, including in connection with Opera's business, and you also agree that Opera is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send Opera for any purpose.
Ohh really, well that just great.. I'm sure that in most cases I would be very happy if a picture or text I have made had been used for something Opera saw fit. I would probably be very proud. But without my say-so? What if Opera used something I had uploaded to promote something that I am against, or do not want to associated with? What then?
When Facebook tried to use a similar user agreement there were an enormous outcry from users how wrong this was. Why has this not happened in the Opera Community? I did not read the contract before saying ok to it, maybe no one else did
