Yesterday it was frizzing cold here in London, but I decided to brace the elements and head down to London for Chinese New year. This year is the year of the Ox. The Chinese New Year celebrations seems to have a lot to do with Dragons. Everywhere you went in China town you could see them. See the youtube clip I made and you'll see what I mean
I bought a box of fortune cookies, hoping for some good news. Most of the messages where radar random, but this one was rather nice I thought:
A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, only to return home to find it
Christmas is here, and it seems to have arrived earlier then usual. I am celebrating Christmas in London this year, I'm making the dinner tomorrow, so it is going to be interesting It should be ok; I have made that sort of meal before. All the dinner stuff and gifts has been bought already, so at the moment I am actually quit relaxed. I thought I was smart when I went food shopping early today, seemed like a lot of people had the same idea. The place was packed.
I discovered to my surprise that there is a little park close to where I live. I took my camera there the other day; Ducks were cleaning themselves as the sun was settling. Day was about to become night in London. There was no wind, silent. All that could be heard was the flapping of the wings.
There is this Irish bar in Camden Town (London north) I sometimes go to. Every Sunday there is a jam session in that bar where anyone can join in with their instruments. The music is always good, mostly young musicians are playing. Maybe I'll go back there this weekend. Sorry I don't remember the name of the bar
