Tilting the Void

everything looks perfect from far away...

Further to my hatred of Ghost Hunter type shows...

It's so much more interesting when the ghosts ARE INSIDE YOUR OWN HEAD.

And more realistic, too.

But it doesn't sell the electronic wankery, now, does it?

They so totally need to do a MYTHBUSTERS on these things.

And also, if they got rid of these stupid shows, there would be more room for House (which is not significantly more scientific, but better to look at :D )

OH DO WANT DO WANT DO WANT30 Second Bunnies.

Penn and Teller could do a "Bullshit!"

PERFECT.

Someone oughta write them something!

About 1993, Penn and Teller did a show here. I was still swimming a lot then, and Teller showed up at the pool. He swam for an hour or so, but I was so disappointed. I figured he'd go four minutes underwater before taking a breath, but he breathed with every stroke.

Well jeeze, the guy isn't exactly...um...svelte :D

I just went for a fifteen minute run with Greg and thought I was going to die. DIE, I SAY! But, in my defense, it's been a LOOOOOONG day. P: The phone in my office is now officially known as Marconi's Stupid Question Generator.

I want one of those! You should write them down for your non-fiction book.

Mel 27. March 2009, 01:43

Oh man

I always wished I had written down things I heard as a lawyer. I've forgotten most of them now. I also wish I had written down some of the the things the child said as a youngster. She had us in stitches every day. I can't remember most of them now, though.

I can hijack my own thread, can't I? P:

Me, showing a globe to my little niece: "And there's Antarctica!"

She: "That's where all the ants come from, right?"

Me: "...."

Hahaha. The only one we really have left is Hammer Lincoln, the 16th President.
