Greg made a super. I helped. All we need to order are more frames, since those are EXTREMELY fiddly bits, and which I've done.

We are well on our way into full-time obsession. I have grand visions of moving to the country, setting up shop, and becoming a full-time beekeeper/artist/ne'er-do-well.

It has much more allure than desk-slavery or living under a bridge in a cardboard box, which, if you read current financial news, is what we'll all be doing once all the banks fail and we're stuck standing in soup lines while Walker Evans takes our picture.

Haha. My facebook occupation is ne'er-do-well. I had to double check, since I haven't been there in, like, a jillion years.

I took a nifty (I think) picture of three bees on a sunflower last evening. I'll have to pull it off the camera, and see how it turned out. I envy you your hives! Every time you mention it, it sounds as though you are having a blast! Well, aside form that "are they swarming?" anxiety a few weeks ago...

Save me a place in the soup line?

Ha! I just got back in the office from a quick trip out to super the hives--they're growing immense--and I have to say, even with the swarming anxiety, it beats hell out of a desk job!

Heh. I just had the same conversation with Greg, who is uncomfortable with the way I'm leaning. He thinks it won't--I think we'll do fine! I must plan my attack in increments and PROVE to him how I can make a living at it! Muhuhahaha....

(or not. Currently, I can't summon the ambition to do the dishes. It's too nice an evening!)
