Opera Mini 6.5.1 available today

It's been a very busy week here at Opera, but our developers aren't done yet wink

Today we released the Opera Mini 6.5.1 update. It is available now in Android Market and will be available on our servers later today. All users are recommended to update.


Opera Mini 6.5.1 Android: change log

  • Fixed problem with importing system bookmarks on some devices
  • Fixed problems with no feedback given to the user when shortcut couldn't be added to home screen
  • Fixed problems with star indication of bookmarked pages after device restart
  • Fixed problems with download view not updated properly in some cases
  • Crash and stability fixes

Web pages are transcoded and compressed up to 90% before being downloaded to the device, making Opera Mini lightning fast and also much cheaper if you are paying per megabyte.

Also please report issues using 'Report a problem' tool in Help (add as many details as possible no matter how irrelevant you think they might be. Especially: ROM you have, any modifications you did to the system, etc.)

The new update is awesome, but is seems as if Opera has shifted their focus to android, awwww....Guess I have to wait a little longer for updates on my blackberry.

today itself facing the same OUT OF MEMORY ERROR problem.
I saved opera mini 6.5 in my memory card and it has 200MB free memory.
What is the real problem?please help me.

oh god, now that out of memory error problem arises immediately after initiating any search.the message is "Out Of memory Error java/lang/out of memory error".after that the application ask to quiet.
Device detail:
nokia 5130,
operamini 6.5,
in memory card(free memory 200MB).

Also having issues with the new version on a LG Rumor Touch. It ran fine on 5.1 but after installing 6.5 I can't use for more than a couple of minutes before the app freezes up. Had to downgrade to 5.1, and now it's running fine again.
