Oh, excellent.

In 5 minutes of testing it seems to work on my Galaxy S II, yay! Couldn't get 30 seconds out of it since the last update.

Good work.

Off to edit my marketplace listing to remove the bit about advising people to NOT upgrade to 11.52.

I wish Opera were more responsive thou, they could have pulled the update temporarily when they knew there were problems (it's a single button click in the Android Market developer console to revert it back to 11.51). You only have to look at the slew of bad comments and reviews after 11.52 got released to see there was a problem.

As opposed to the slew of bad comments about Firefox after its recent update? In fairness not everyone uses Link, Mini still worked and Opera didn't want to issue a special "downgrade" update when the crashlogs had given them enough data to patch this ASAP. Overall 11.5.1 and 11.5.2 did not crash in my Echo, even with Link enabled.

So thanks for the prompt patch to affected users, and also thanks again for that last update to Mini (it now resizes correctly when opening the second screen on aforementioned Kyocera Echo).

Hi guys, i'm very impressed about your work, anyway i have a problem, i'm using windows 7 and win 8 dev preview with a dell inspiron duo, and internet explorer is great in win 8 but buggy, i've installed opera mobile 11 but it is also buggy, i'm trying with opera emulator and it works great! The question is: There will be an Opera mobile 11.5 for windows?
Thanks for your attention and for your work it's all what i needed.

It would be much better and well appreciated if this latest development on opera is widely extended to the betterment and benefit of opera browsers. I beg let most latest opera version 'mobile inclusive' be released as soon as possible. It is WELL.

hm... I also encountered lags/freeze, but on Symbian (disabled Opera Link now as a workaround) - is this reported or fixed yet?

I'm using Opera Mobile v.11.5.3 on my Nexus S. It feels gorgeous. It is better than the default Android web browser in almost every respect except when performing a Google search. It seems there is something wrong with the Google page rendering because the search option for customizing results to certain time periods and search tools have disappeared. These search tools on the Google page are quite useful. I have tried other Android browsers and the Google search tools are available on UC Mobile.

We hope that Opera Mobile will provide as perfect a desktop browsing experience as possible.

any news on opera mobile 12?

Cutting Spoonhellspork Thursday, November 24, 2011 5:06:48 AM

From prior experience it will arrive after Desktop 12.00 lands, question being what will define it as different from 11.5 (which includes ES5.1 and greatly updated Presto version).

A person could have some crazy dreams, but I will wait for the surprise.

I installed Opera Mobile on my Galaxy 8.9 after this version but it keeps telling me I'm on 11.5.0 and no updates are available. Is this standard?

I've made room on my Stock rom htc desire to change Opera Mini by Opera mobile.
The trouble is that Turbo doesn't work on Opera mobile.
If I activate it, everything seems to be Ok. At every place that is possible to see, the turbo is on (opera:config, preference and in the bandwith stats) But the economy stay at 0% and the traffic don't pass thru the Opera server.

Any Idea ?

Opera mini works great on the same phone.

Your wireless carrier may be blocking nonstandard network port numbers?

Matthieumoimadmax Thursday, December 8, 2011 8:11:17 AM

Thats possible, how to test it on an android phone ?

Is there a way to change the port ?

Now if only I could clear the clutter of all tabs by closing them at one go! *sigh*

You know what Android users want:
Faster&Clear_history&Right_corner_exit_button

Can't say much simpler than that... up

Flash is not working in Opera on my Transformer Prime on Android ICS 4.03.
Don't if this issue is reported yet??
In other browsers Flash works fine, but of course they suck at everything else wink

Any news devs? What's cookin'? whistle

cousin333 Tuesday, January 31, 2012 8:42:16 PM

I have just updated my Opera Mobile to 11.5.4 on Android (Galaxy S). Now, if I scroll (pan) down, it doesn't redraw the page quick enough. So the texts, images... etc. are all over the place - multiplied. It takes about one second after it stopped to clear and show the real content. The problem is not present when I scroll (pan) up.

cousin333 Wednesday, February 1, 2012 7:33:42 PM

Updating to Opera Mobile 11.5.5 solved the problem(s). Thank you.

Thanks for the latest update, solved the sticky navigation bar bug. Why no blog post on the update?
