Opera Mini and Opera Mobile updated for Android/S60

Today, the Opera Mobile and Opera Mini teams released bug fixes on Android and S60! Although the bugs are minor and mostly addressed specific handset bug reports we recommend all Opera users to upgrade to the latest versions released just a few hours ago. Opera Mini 6.5.2 for S60

  • Fixed general stability issues

Opera Mini 7.0.2 for Android:

  • Fixed crashes related to virtual keyboard on some HTC devices
  • Fixed crashes related to non-standard ROMs (e.g. CyanoGen)
  • Fixed crashes related to text selection
  • Fixed general stability issues

Opera Mini Next 7.0.2 for Android

  • Fixed crashes related to virtual keyboard on some HTC devices

Opera Mobile Change Logs

Hmmm will symbian version be available as auto update from nokia store? wink I prefer to install from nokia store, but it means I have to remove and install it again, since it usually somehow defy the autoupdate mechanism

I am having problems playing flash videos after the update. Earlier, I could play any flash video without any problem. But after the update, very few videos play properly and 95% of the videos don't play at all. SGS II with Stock Android 2.3.6 .

Feature request: Please add Opera Mini's double-tap "page-down" feature to Opera Mobile.

In Opera Mini(on touchscreen phones), if I double-tap in the bottom 20% area the screen, the page scrolls down.

In Opera Mobile, this doesn't happen. It'd really help when reading long pages.

Random lag after updating, it's even in sub-menus of Opera Mobile.

Why double folders for cache.

No downgrade option.

Hi,

Opera Mobile v11.5 for S60 (Nokia N8) had better support for video.

v12.0.2 (2254) and the previous versions of v12 all show the preview picture for the video, but no way to press "play" in the video frame. Pressing the preview picture does nothing, so I cannot play the video.

In v11.5, there is no preview picture, but I can press the "play" icon in the video frame, and the video would play in the phone's native video player.

Can anyone help me? You claim the new version supports html5 video better, and that is not true.
