New Update for Opera Mobile on Android.

Today we have released Opera Mobile 12.1.4, and new builds are available to download from the Google Play store.

This latest version of Opera Mobile contains a variety of bug fixes, along with stability and performance improvements.

Big thanks to all of you for your constant support.

We hope users love this new update, but as always, we welcome your feedback in our forum, and please report any bugs in our bug report wizard.

Please, someone in Opera - take a look at that post: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1461202 especially "Auto-closing of tab bar". This is really annoying, and it's the thing that prevent me from using opera mobile instead chrome. sad

I still have problem to synchronize via Link... Same with previous v.12 releases.

Message "Synchronisation de vos données" never closing (even after waiting hours).

Same problem with Opera Mini current stable version on the same smartphone (Samsung GTi9100)

I use 1680 bookmarks, can this be a problem or a cause for never finishing sync ?
No sync problem between Link and other Opera Dektop installations.

Opera Mini don't have html5 and flash player support. she is faster than Opera Mobile.

Hi, I just download new Opera Mobile from Play store, and have a problem with connections via 3G. Always have notice about problem with connection with proxy server. On Wi Fi works perfect. Other browsers - Firefox and build in browser works ok.
Turbo mode is off
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
Any ideas how to fix it?

As a long time opera user, I am now getting annoyed about the sync problem which have been reported several times. I'm giving you one last update to fix it, or I will switch to chrome both on desktop and mobile.

Opera mobile for Android doesn't scale for the super high res Nexus 10. All the toolbars appear tiny. Unusable in its current state.

Opera guys... it's been for too long. When are you going to fix it on Android 4.x? It's so freaking sluggish on it, interface/scrolling updated like at 20fps. And it's been like it since probably 11.65 or so.

It's really time to do something about it....

Html5/Flash support not enough moust for online videos. Speed in 2G/3G network and wi-fi it very very slow that dolphin browser beta, ucweb, firefox. Add custom user agent manually or standard options by yours (like dolphin browser). Download it not stable for sites who support iframe. Compressing it not stable. Suggestion: try to improve speed, improve download, improve compression and make all audio/video executable like: .mp4 (movies) .mp3 (audio) .pls (radio) .m3u (radio) .m3u8 (live tv) .sdp (live tv) .asf (live tv) and rtsp links, all that to have 2 options: Open with or Download.

there are 2 points for you :
1 opera does NOT provide file conversion services
its server only handle webpages and compressions for opera softwares
2 not all files downloadable
you can't download all streamable or protected content that doesn't provide the ability to do so i.e. youtube videos because it's prohibited

so your idea that is "download these contents i wanted and make it playable in my device!!" is kinda stupid if you ask it in opera team's sake

it isn't impossible though, there are plenty of sites and applications that give such services you asked
but as far as i know, it won't get in on opera software's function, never (at least their mobile applications)

unless if opera developing a site dedicated to support such functions, then it is a different story, but unlikely

I still have error message to check connection when trying to login to Link Sync with Opera Mobile. It's fine when I try it with Opera Mini.
