It's Me It's Me, A Blogwright

A potpourri of ME

Can't get into Comments -- then they are erased from my list AND TA DA NEW IRONMAN Song

, , , , ,

First of all, as you can see from the title, I can't communicate with all of you via Comments. :irked:

Second of all, one of the reasons I LOVE my hubby so much is that he can make me laugh. He made-up this Ironman Song to the tune of the Spiderman Song.:lol: So, here is the Ironman MASHUP:

IRONMAN mashup SONG

By Ted B.

(Sung to the tune of Spiderman song)

:sing: Ironman
Ironman
Does whatever an iron can
presses slacks
presses shirts
tan and blue
not on you
Watch Out
Here Comes the Ironman :sing:

:frown: Sorry about your commenting troubles.

Awww, nice he wrote a song. :D

Hm, Opera has been a bit unstable recently. I expect the comments troubles will pass!

Funny Ironman song

Thanks, Carol-Dacotah, he wrote another verse which I'll post later because I can't remember it properly. In the next one, Ironman is singing about golfing because golf has irons.

Ya, Adele, I am surprised that these things happen to Opera. I don't blog elsewhere as frequently as I do here, so I really don't have anything to judge this OS' performance against. My children say I should switch to Firefox, they say that is the best browser. Microsoft now has offered me a Microsoft Explorer -- but gosh, I have Windows Explorer, Yahoo/Google, erased Aol (hopefully), and Opera browsers. I am not certain of how much memory these things take or how much room they take on my drive and so I passed on it.

What do you think?

My hubby says that Microsoft owns Apple, so he laughs at those Microsoft versus Apple commercials -- if we could afford it, though, I would like to get a Mac since everyone I know who has one just LOVES it and says it is so much better than Microsoft. If this is the case, why doesn't Microsoft just fix its programs to run as smoothly? Is it ego?

I know a lot of people say they want Linux instead of all the above, but I really like that Microsoft does the updates and fixes automatically.

I cannot claim much expertise, but I have heard that the Opera browser is one of the most secure ones. I don't like Internet Explorer. Firefox is okay, but I've got used to Opera now. I've only have owned PCs and I won't like to switch to a Mac (even if it runs much better!) because most of my games wouldn't work :frown:

I have only owned PCs, too.

Thanks for your opinion.

At least you have the choice! :irked: .
Here in South Africa, you can only get Microsoft or Microsoft approved software. If, by some miracle, you happen upon a Mac, you can't get software that runs on it. :left: .
A not too well known fact is that it's almost impossible to write a virus for a Mac. It's got something to do with the way the Mac accesses it's memory. I'm not sure how it works but apparently, program and data memory are kept seperate on a Mac. Virus's need access to thier own program memory to work. Microsoft also has full and unrestricted access to pc's running internet explorer. They know who you are and they know where to find you. You can run but you can't hide.

Wow, qlue, that is very interesting.

Why would Microsoft be interested in me, though?

You would think Microsoft would integrated the same workings as Macs so that it, too, would be virus-free!

Many countries don't seem to have a choice. Poor you.

I was so uncomputerwise when I first got a compy. Some other mother told me there was a tool whereby you could hook your Super Nintendo games to the computer and play them there -- and I believed her!

Well, now my son says this is possible. Well, then I couldn't do it...
