Happy New Year all my friends and readers!!!

Ode to New Year 2009

New Year, New Year, 2009
makes me think of what kind
of things will be going on here
what surprises will appear
what difficulties will we surmount
only to find others about
living, loving, eating, reading,
learning, observing, sleeping
filled with wishes of good health
and enough of all kinds of wealth
to aid us to prosper and to utilize
all goodnesses of life under our Earth's blue skies.
