It's Me It's Me, A Blogwright

This week -- rain! Now it is getting cold, too.

Last week, continued:

Friday was the homecoming football game and the band played. They didn't get to do their show as the class floats had to be driven by, and they had the students who were nominated to be queen and king march out and then hear who won the vote. The poms did their routine, the cheerleaders did theirs.

But the band marched there, the band did their normal opening of patriotic songs and the school fight song. Then was the game. Our team won. Here is a picture of small-town Americana, the band in the endzone waiting to perform.

The next day was the Homecoming Dance. My daughter went and had a great time. Bunches of students meet at someone's house, and photos are taken. It is so weird to drive around the neighborhood and see 50 to 100 kids in front of someone's house!! My daughter's group wasn't quite that large:

Such a nice weekend, beautiful weather; so, makes sense, had a lot of running about to do.

Saturday was also the day my niece had her daughter christened. It was a beautiful ceremony. Here is a shot of the interior of the church.


Then, Sunday, the Bears won again!!! I hope they make it to the Super Bowl!!!!
