"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth... Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable." -- Kahlil Gibran

Nourishment

“On life's journey faith is nourishment, virtuous deeds are a shelter, wisdom is the light by day and right mindfulness is the protection by night. If a man lives a pure life, nothing can destroy him.”
~Buddha

Every day we nourish our bodies. When we are thirsty we drink, hungry we eat.. Often times however, we skip the most important nourishment of all. When our souls cry out for that which will quench our true thirst we ignore the pleas.

Spiritual starvation is just as life threatening as lack of food & water. So often when we are spiritually malnourished we look without by fixating on other people or things to fulfill us,to quench our thirst. The truth is true sustenance comes from within, and we all have what we need inside of us waiting for us to discover it. We must take time to get to know ourselves, and to honor our own path.
