"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth... Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable." -- Kahlil Gibran

It's Personal

“I dream of wayward gulls and all landless lovers, rare moments of winter sun, peace, privacy, for everyone.”

William F. Claire

We've been travelling, sightseeing and wallowing in the joy of our children. My stepson has been here with us for a short four weeks and his departure is fast approaching. Every year we endeavor to pack as much life into his time with us that we can. I try earnestly to remind all of us that life is best lived in the small moments...those little in between times that seem so inconsequential. Yet the message is lost among the clamor for more excitement, more "Kodak Moments", more gifts, more, more, more. We are all left, inevitably, feeling spent and dazed at the end. I would be looking forward to a respite but my niece arrives in less than a week. :faint:
