We spent the Fourth at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Military Training Station. Amazing fireworks (alas, no photos) and alot of patriotism.

Saturday in the park

Up and out early today. Took L to Adventure Playground in HB where children get to play in an environment intended to mimic Huck Finn. They can add or subtract to the forts using hammer, nails and saws-L really loved that. There is a mud slide, rafts and a tire swing/slide. Great fun. But next time we are bringing extra clothes . We spent some time at the library then headed to the wetlands for a very lovely stroll. Perfect day.
