Nokia Internet Tablets

oink! oink! I mean mae_moo.

This is a hacked version of pyvnc2swf from http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/

You will need Python for Maemo from http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/

You will also need x11vnc from http://mike.saunby.googlepages.com/x11vncfornokia7702

Warning this is Beta!!!

MD5 (python2.5-pyvnc2swf-cl_0.9.3-1_armel.deb) = ce0c6815184defc2f03af0c26c649028

python2.5-pyvnc2swf-cl_0.9.3-1_armel.deb

1) Start x11vnc from the menu.

2) Open a xterm window.

3) cd /home/user/MyDocs/.documents

4) type vnc2swf-cl -n -o out.swf ( Warning the -n is required )

5) Minimize the xterm but do not close it.

6) Go do some stuff.

7) Go back to the xterm window when you are finished.

8) Do Crtl C in the xterm window.

9) Open out.swf or out.html in your browser.

Here is a sample recording.

jasons.swf

I plan to use Maemo Recorder to record a wav file and then convert it to MP3 at http://media-convert.com/
and then use vnc2swf-edit to merge it with the out.swf file. (Not tested yet!!)

All the various command line switches. (Not tested yet!!)

Files needed if you want to hack on it in scratchbox

python2.5-pyvnc2swf-cl_0.9.3-1.dsc

python2.5-pyvnc2swf-cl_0.9.3-1.tar.gz

python2.5-pyvnc2swf-cl_0.9.3-1_armel.changes

I am also using working on and using recordmydesktop at http://recordmydesktop.iovar.org/about.php but it is still a little slow.

I have been a little busy but I have not forgot about it. In a few weeks, I am going to update pysearch to the latest, polish spotyah some more and maybe add pyro. I want to use pyro to take remote pictures with the 800's camera from my pc. Also, thanks to the author of pyephem for getting it released under the lgpl license, I will package it up for something I am working on. I am also following recordmydesktop closely. Sounds strange but I am waiting for the OpenBSD 4.2 release before I re-flash my 800 and reconfigure my hard drives.
