Winter without snow

The grey she prefers in this winter’s day
For her white thousand times I tried
Neither a damn nor frown to my nay
In giggles she turned to the other side
In white I love her more she does know
Melt in her kiss a blessed grace
Wrapped in her color from top to toe
Silver smiles heard in outer space
Farewell my snow white little sweet
Beloved of mine to everything purify
Not her to blame degrading my dream neat
The nature’s call can not she deny
But more should have I done to save a whit
And less asked for yet too late
To get the pleasure back I submit
For her white million years can wait

A fantastic piece posted on 28th of Dec but 。。。due to the earthquake, I didn't get it until now!
Needless for me to list all the poem writing skills nor the rhetorical devices imployed in it, both moonriver and Alicelutos have already detected them. A layman's work? If so, my work would be of a layman's layman's, or even worse. You are an adept, as said, and you own it!
The tone is so subtly set that all the sadness and helplessness are hidden. Without heavy ink, the picture is lightly colored and even somewhat pleasant at times, and yet, reading between the lines and with my own personal image contruction tools, I surely build up a world of beauty not only of the white winter, but the deep love from the writer.
The undercurrents are there, though the water surface is covered with a crust of ice. Great job!
