pretty hard to find a decent looking sticky notes application. there is some nice stuff for Yahoo! Widget Engine (aka Konfabulator), but as i am running Rainmeter anyways ...
you will probably have to edit the skin´s ini file if your Rainmeter is not at c:\progra~1\rainmeter\.

rainmeter, xion

i did a new skin for Xion yesterday. it has nice animated speakers based on the left/right speaker volume. please be sure to install the included font before running it, also note the display will only look good when ClearType font smoothing is off. it a port of this Rainmeter skin.

there´s also a new Rainmeter skin. and it´s a real waste of desktop space. maybe some of you can use it to see how to do animation in a Rainmeter skin. or you might want to put it above your Sodom & Gomorrah icon.

Rainlendar, rainmeter

i always wanted to have a search function in the Rainmeter and Rainlendar help files. finally i found a way to help myself. decompiled them with chmdeco and recompiled with Microsoft HTML Help Workshop. so if you like to have a search funtion as well, look no further.

this update features better code and also two new modes: big landscape and big portrait.

also in the Rainmeter department i have created a new set of custom tray icons. they are heavily inspired by the cpufreq applet from Gnome. please check the readme on how to install them.
