Dedicated to my father Rangi

Evening all

Ever since i was a young boy i loved cars, my father would take me to Ruapuna, a race track in my home town of Canterbury New Zealand. The track was a speedstrip as well, next door was the 'Speedway' where i witnessed Ivan Mauger ride to victoria time and time again, left foot down full throttle. The man was my hero.

Single seaters, saloons, production, classic, bikes, side cars, I love them all. The smell, the exhileration at race time. Today i am a big fan of pretty much anything with wheels. Design and engineering is where it is really at for me, i can oggle and drool over a fine machine for hours. I proudly offer you this group to enjoy. Needless to say i am not into babes all over car shots, there really is enough of that hoohaa. This is dedicated to my father who would always make sure i picked up his Motorsport magazine on time. This group 'Motor' is with this brilliant magazine in mind and a tribute to all the writers and photographers that taught me so much about the sport.

Finally my thoughts are with Isabelle, Kirsteen and Sam Britten. Your husband, father, John Britten gave us so much. Britten Motorcycle Company.
