The Unforgettable Moment

On 24 September 2011, I joined a program which called Youth Defined: Shape Our Future. It was organized by Myharapan collaborate with Pemandu (Performance Managerial and Delivery Unit)and Ministry of Higher Education. Project manager of this event is one of UUM Student Representative Council, Jhet and it assisted by Man Puah.Actually, I was invited by Vanitha, my course-mate. She said she need a few volunteers to make this program succeed. First of all, I ever doubted to accept her invitation because this program is about ETP (Economic Transformation Program) and GTP(Government Transformation Program) policy. Other than me, there were some friends joined this program such Muizzuddin, keh Wa, Vanitha itself, Ashwinny Poowesna, Ainaa, Viva and some other Malay and Indian friends which I cannot memorize all their names.

Even though it was such great event but I doubt if this program just for political propaganda of the ruling party. In my previous semester, I joined bakti siswa . I thought it was wonderful and meaningful program but I was cheated by organizer. This bakti siswa was endorsed by political party. If I am not mistaken,in section 15 and 16 UUCA 2008,mention that any university student cannot cooperate or organize any program with any political party who seen as give support or opposite them. That was the reason why I took times to consider Vanitha's invitation. However, once I participated in Youth Defined, my perception totally wrong. This event is free of such the stupid things.

I guess this is my most meaningful event I ever joined since I have been in UUM. As usual, same like others, this event has its own weakness. Anyway, we all did the best. I gained experiences and some soft skill for Youth Defined. Moreover,I felt that this program could unite solidarity among students because the volunteers consist of Malay, Chinese and Indians. Perhaps 1Malaysia concept could be implemented by this kind of event. Thanks to Vanitha, Man, Jhet and all volunteer friends for making such a great moment for me to remember. This is what I call as the unforgettable moment.

My Eid Ul Fitr 2011

I was excited to celebrate Eid this year even though it different in previous years. I was realized each one of us will grow up and become mature. I am feeling that I am become into the other person. When I was a kid, I celebrated Eid in childish way. Playing with firecrackers, lighting the lamps and many more. Now I am 22. This Eid made me felt so different. However, I am still enjoy it.

Family

Praise be to Allah. Me and my whole family can still celebrate this Eid together. It seems becomes as a tradition to celebrate Eid with family and other relatives in Malaysia. It just because during Eid is a proper time to gather together. In fact, Eid can tighten relationship among among us. That is what I love about Eid. I hope I will able to celebrate it with my family in the future.

Eid reunion SMASID and SHAMS

This year I am still able to attend my reunion school from SMASID and SHAMS. On 3 September, I attended "Reunion Raya bersama Pelajar SMASID sempena Aidilfitri 2011" . This event was organized by Alumni SMASID collaborated with SMASID management. While reunion SHAMS was different. On 5 September 2011,me and my other form six friends batch 2008 reunited unofficially by visiting our former teachers and friends. Unfortunately, not all my friends went together. Mohd Syafiq Firdaus a.k.a Daud refused to go with us.It is good and unique. We do not need to lend the hall or book the food too much. Just call friends and deal among us when to go "beraya". I really enjoyed celebrating Eid with my friends. However, this year just only us from ex-male SHAMS students visited and "beraya" at SHAMS school. I love my old school and I wish to celebrate Eid with all my ex-schoolmates in the next year.

Relatives and Wedding

This year was totally different. I started to reconnect among cousins. In previous years, I never get close with my cousins. However, I used to close with them when I was a kid around 4 or 5 years old. Last time I met my cousin from my father's side was on 2002 if I am not mistaken. But when I am growing up, I realized that I need to re-close with those who have blood tie with me. Before Ramadan, I looked after my father at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah KualaTerengganu, many my father's relatives came to visit him. Obviously and honestly, I did not recognized some of them. After that, my father asked me to mix with all my relatives because someday I would need them and they would need me. Even in Islam calls to tighten relationship among Muslims. Then, this Syawal has been a witness that i tried to close ties with others. this year, I found back my cousins which I met them a long long time ago. I hope this bond will be unbreakable.

UUM Student Parliament : Dream Comes True

,

example of Student Parliament

Most of local university today seems heading to the establishment of Student Parliament. If I am not mistaken, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was the first university have its legislative council. Then, it followed by others universities including Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). One of Student Representative Council which is call as Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) Afifi Nordin has proposed this idea.

During campus election, Afifi (pic) participated as a candidate. He was not from Aspirasi Perubahan team but from Transfromasi Mahasiswa. In other words he were considered as opposition group in campus. When he started his political campaign, one of his manifestos was to propose the establishment of Student Parliament. After he won the election officially, he was appointed as International Affairs executive council (EXCO) co-post with Limau Ujang. I think that post is suitable for Afifi because he is an INTAFF student. INTAFF is short form to International Affairs Management. Now after he won, he would deliver his manifestos. Even though I look he quite silences after the election but he still makes his jobs. Sooner or later I look his efforts. In previous times, seems like not all MPP leaders agreed with the idea of student parliament. But in the end, they all totally agree. Personally, I shall salute and congratulate Afifi of struggling for this idea. Well done Afifi!

Afifi(black blazer)adressing his manifesto during campus election campaign

Finally, UUM administration completely agreed the idea of Student Parliament. However, that legislative council would not be called as “parliament”. It will call as Student Leadership Consensus Council or Majlis Perundingan Kepimpinan Siswa (MPKS). I do apologize if I mention the name of that council wrongly. I wonder why administration and higher education ministry refuse to use the name of “parliament”. In United Kingdom and others Western countries have already their own parliament. Well, perhaps the name is not the big problem. More importantly is the implementation.

The format of UUM MPKS is all MPP leader will be the permanent members in the House. Other members will be seat in the House are each Student Resident Hall President. The non-permanent members are consisting of each Society or Club President under Student Affairs (HEP) or under college. There is no opposition in the House. Even though it is looks like prototype of Dewan Rakyat but this House do not use government-opposition format. Generally, this format is good. I just want to see the modus of this House. Is it will be conducted fairly and freely? Is it the House will be supreme? Can university administration guarantee that they will not interfere the process of debating in the House? Some university officer seems like unhappy if any student to be more vocal of any issue.

As a democratic country, university administration also must show the real democracy inside of campus. Freedom of speech, press and assembly must be given to student to practice them. I do not like to hear any voices ask that we shall not influence any political party demands. I know many of students understand the limit. Nowadays, Malaysia government become more sensitive of people’s voice and liberty. I wonder why.

Student Parliament or MPKS or whatever its name should be the place of expressing, criticizing, recommending any issue towards university. It can helps student to develop his communication skill, confidence and to be more creative of thinking. University must give more spaces to student so that they can use that space wisely. I do not want to relate with AUKU here. It will be long explanation if I relate it.

Now, if MPKS officially be opened, I hope I could watch the debating session among student leaders. I want to see student leaders behave like political leaders. Anyway, I do not want that House will be place of swearing or quarrelling. They should not imitate totally from Dewan Rakyat. I think every student leader already knew about this. Recently Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib has announced the establishment of Youth Parliament. Now, after this, we would have Student Parliament and Youth Parliament. I hope student and youth which the member of both Houses can use this space wisely. I want to see Malaysia become more liberal and democratic.

Malaysia would be more democratic and liberal if all of us decide to change the national leadership. This is not the better way but this is the best.

What Shall I learn From USM?

Recently, I went to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)for attending International Conference on Globalization,Governance and Sustainability for ASEAN Youth in 2011 (ICGGS 2011). This prestige event was conducted by Political Science Club and the project director was my friend Mohd Izzuddin Ramli. This international conference got participation from among ASEAN countries such as Universitas Indonesia,Universitas Paramadina, Universitas Gajah Mada, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Jember, University of Philippine, Thaksin University and many more. While in local university witnessed the participation from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu(UMT),Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM) and last but not least my beloved universiti, Universiti Utara Malaysia(UUM). In fact, My father used to be student in USM. My father was so proud of USM. Even I am not USM student but I feel proud too.

In the previous semester,Izzuddin and his secretary Rafidah Khairuddin came to my university to discuss about USM-UUM cooperation through Political Science Association. They also mentioned the international conference that they want to organize. This semester, I met them again but this time not just Izzuddin and Rafidah, but, Aina, Jasmin, Justin, Kumanan and all committee members. I really impressed with their job and the way of they work. Before I went to USM, I was one of the UUM presenter in this international conference but unfortunately, I have midterm and quiz which I could not proceed at the same time. Perhaps I would be a presenter next time.

More interestingly, this conference received full support from USM Vice Chancellor Profesor Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak and former USM Pro Chancellor Tan Sri Razali Ismail. More excitingly, this conference was officiated by Minister of Youth and Sport Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek who represented Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Najib. In addition, Deputy Minister of Higher Education dato' Saifuddin Abdullah also came for keynote speech.Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir also been scheduled to give keynote speech but due to technical problem, he could not come.I must salute Izzuddin and all ICGGS committee members for their work hard to make sure this conference successful. Unfortunately,I missed to take picture with Dato' Saifuddin and USM Vice Chancellor Tan Sri Dzulkifli. However, I feel lucky when I still can pose with Minister and USM Pro Chancellor. More suprisingly, Astro Awani TV host also attended to this event. An unexpected guest.

The advantage I gain in this event is I got friend from ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Philippine, Thailand and also from local university in Malaysia including from USM. I think there are a lot of things I shall learn from USM. Other than that, I became more interesting to concern about ASEAN in term of environment, politic, economy and so on. Perhaps after this my prospect career will be in global field. I would like to join any activity in international level after ASEAN conference. Perhaps Commonwealth, United Nation or OIC. I wish if someday UUM administration become as good as USM. There is quite different between UUM and USM. However, I strongly believe that UUM could be more amazing than USM if we have strong commitment and determination.

In short, once again I would like to congratulate my friend Izzdudin and all their committee members and hopefully we could meet again. I intend to further my study in master level in USM. I hope UUM-USM relation will continue to make cooperation for both interest. Here I put some picture that I took during international conference at USM. Salam 1 ASEAN.

Nik Aziz and Karpal Singh Should Step Down

Mentri Besar of Kelantan Datuk Tuan Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat had led Kelantan state government since 1990. He was not just head of Kelantan state government but he was also PAS spiritual leader or more known as Mursyidul Am PAS. His leadership brought Kelantan retained under PAS until now. After 12th General Election witnessed that Nik Aziz was given mandate once again to lead Kelantan but this time with PKR and DAP.

I knew he gave a lot of contributions and effort to PAS and state of Kelantan. Nik Aziz was one of greatest ulama in PAS which had nice personality. He has charismatic as Islamic scholar and leader even several UMNO leaders respected and impressed with his personality. Nik Aziz and his government have implement a plenty of policies such as giving 60 days leave to pregnant women, kifaalah Scheme, Hudud Day and many more . In fact, He also allowed popular singers Mawi and Wali Band come to Kelantan to make the grand concert. I must confess, he was a great leader with several ideas that some people never think about it.

However, I think his glory era is must come to the end. Personally, I feel that PAS shall find new leader to replace Nik Aziz as Mentri Besar and Kelantan PAS Commissioner. Perhaps 13th general election will be his last political career. I do not mean to deny Nik Aziz leadership or his contributions for Kelantan’s people. I am sure he has done very well and probably better than the PAS previous Mentri Besar’s Dato’ Asri Muda.

What I concern is about Nik Aziz’s condition. He seems has no good enough strength to carry out as head of government. He now appears with his crosier and sometimes with wheel chair. His condition does not allow him to fulfil his duty as leader. As far I know about Islamic leadership, one of compulsory condition to become a leader, he must be healthy. So far, I do not think Nik Aziz is qualified for that.

If I were Kelantan’s people, I want Kelantan Executive Council Member (EXCO) Datuk Husam Musa as new Mentri Besar of Kelantan. He has potential to lead Kelantan state. He also has unique ideas in order to develop Kelantan. It is not too much if I call him as “genius” in PAS. Besides that he is young and tough, he seems to have vision not just in Kelantan state but also in PAS leadership. Who know someday he will become PAS President.

Same goes to DAP Chairman Karpal Singh. Currently, he is Member of Parliament Tasek Gelugor Frankly, I also must confess this person. He was a brave man I ever saw in Malaysia. How could I say that? of course. He dared to summon Sultan power in Perak constitutional crisis. However, Karpal Singh was indicted on charges by some ignorant people about constitution. Since he became as DAP leader, he always trying to struggle for rule of law and against corruption.

He revealed scandal in judiciary crisis involving Chief Justice and other judges. His bravery shall be a guide to the future leader to keep fighting and struggling for the people. 20 years ago, Karpal consistent with his principal that he disagreed with PAS ambition to establish Islamic State. But, recently after Pakatan Rakyat Second Convention in Penang, Karpal said that Islamic States issue can be talked nicely. Until now, he is one of Anwar Ibrahim’s advocates in Sodomy II Trial. I shall salute this person because of his struggle and principal to fight injustice and corrupt system.

Although he was a credible DAP leader, but he is not young and tough anymore. Moreover, after he gets involved in road accident several years ago, he has now completely become paralyze. He cannot walk anymore. He just could sit on wheel chair even for attending House of Representatives (Dewan Rakyat). How can he want to do his work as leader if his condition does not allow him to do that? I think Lim Guan Eng is suitable leader to replace Karpal as DAP Chairman. Lim Kit Siang cannot be Chairman anymore because he has held that post previous years before. That is why he just a DAP Adviser and I think Lim Kit Siang should step down too.

When I ask to Nik Aziz and Karpal Singh to retire from political arena, it does mean that I hate them. I do not want they get the same consequence like Muamar Gadaffi,Hosni Mubarak or even Samy Vellu.No. My argument here does not mean I am a UMNO member or Barisan Nasional's die hard fan. I do not support or become any member of political party.I am trying to be neutral. AUKU still restraint university student like me to get involve with politic. I just want to see the new future leader which has potential to lead Pakatan Rakyat in order competing with Barisan Nasional in national politics.

Abdul Muiz: A Man With A Variety of Personality

Frankly, It do not know what I suppose to talk here. But this time I want to describe of myself. Actually I tend to have a lot of personalities. I want to be everyone. Perhaps some people would call me as "chameleon", "sesumpah" or hypocrite. For me, it does not matter. I do not care what people think and talk about me. Just let them be.Here I put some picture which tells us about my personality.

Mat Rempit's Personality

This is my image and personalty if I become rocker or "mat rempit". When I try this personality I feel that I become more aggressive and stylish. Sometimes it looks like I am a gangster but I never think of that. I started to love this personality when I was in second semester break. I got involved with a few friends in my village. They encouraged me to join their motorbike group. I felt that was wonderful. Maybe I want continue this personality in the future.

Islamic Personality

I also love this personality. I love this personality since I was in Form 1 in religious school. I assume that this personality is more moderate than my rocker's image which is seen as brutal and tough. Perhaps this personality could attract Islamic girl especially for any girl who having Islamic thinking and personality. Recently, my friend who studying in Egypt wants to help me finding girl that study in Middle East. I hope the result will be my side.Islamic image could help me to be rational and make me always thinking of Allah S.W.T.

Scheme Personality

This personality I do not know if it consider as scheme. But I think it looks me like I am educated person. This personality only available and appear during lecture period in UUM.I believe not just only me have this image and personality. Among of my friends have this image. I strongly believe that everyone love scheme personality because it looks tidy and discipline.

In conclusion, no matter how many personality and character I had, I still the one and I will be the one. That is me. Abdul Muiz. A man with Variety of personalty

Malay Supremacy or UMNO Supremacy? Which One You Prefer?

I am a bit late to comment on this issue. However, I do not want to miss an opportunity to give my point of view about this issue. Recently, during PKR National Congress, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) President Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah gave a speech i front of delegates, she said that Malay Supremacy ( Ketuanan Melayu)must be dropped for the sake of the future. Her statement raised the wrath of UMNO leaders and Malay NGOs (actually these NGO are the die hard fan of UMNO).

There were some UMNO leaders claimed that Malay Supremacy related to Malay kingship. The concept is about Malay dignity. Some other said it was related to Article 152 and 153 Federal Constitution. There were also some intellectual in UMNO leadership argued that “ketuanan” did not mean as “tuan” (master) in literally but it was all about the sovereignty of Malay sultans. I wonder how come “ketuanan” did not mean as “master”. In fact, according to academics history, there was no history fact about Malay Supremacy.

I am Malay and Muslim. I will defend my Federal Constitution specifically in Article 152 and 153. However, I do not think Malay Supremacy exist in our constitution. Our constitution just mention about Malay special position and Malay privileges. I did not find in which any article and clause mention about Malay Supremacy. I agreed what Law lecturer from UIA Professor Dr Abdul Aziz Bari argument. He argued that Malay Supremacy had nothing with Malay special position. Malay Supremacy concept was just a political rhetoric.

I strongly agreed with his argument. Malaysia is a state that upholds the constitution. So, why do not we refer to the constitution on this issue? UMNO was trying to portrayed and labelled PKR or more precisely both Anwar and Azizah as traitor because of disputing this concept. In my point of view, Malay Supremacy is just political rhetoric and not based on our Federal Constitution. UMNO could make the counter attack if they can prove to the people especially Malays that they are consistently and seriously struggle for Malays.

I admit that a long time ago UMNO is struggle party for Malay. The position of Malay nowadays can be proud of. Tunku Abdul Rahman,Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn and Tun Dr Mahathir were Malay leader who carried out a lot of plans and agenda for Malay specifically. For example, Tun Abdul Razak introduced New Economic Policy (NEP). He target Malay equity of 30 percent. But now, we still cannot reach that. Why? That is because abuse of NEP happened. Nevertheless, that is old story. Start from Mahathir premiership, UMNO has become as elite party. Soon it became corrupt and even much worse. The practise of cronyism, nepotism, corruption and abuse of power happened in UMNO. All projects, allocations, shares and funds just for some individual who has link and connection with ruling class .Even after Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi replace Mahathir administration, Pak Lah swore to eradicate corruption and poverty but the it just merely slogan. The immediate emergence of his son in law in UMNO politic cannot be accepted in the most of UMNO members. That is UMNO crises now. Malay Supremacy is only want to defend some interest of elite UMNO but not for the rest of Malay interest.
Now that is UMNO supremacy. Many people want to join UMNO today not because they want to struggle for Malay but just for themselves to gain wealth among them. I strongly believe if Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) is full of integrity and transparent, MACC could investigate UMNO leader’s income. Then we can see how much amount of wealth each one of them.

I think UMNO do not need to be too sensitive about Malay Supremacy. What are more important is, UMNO should rebuild new image that this party will help poor Malay, students Malay, entrepreneurs Malay who are really need help and support government especially the government which lead by UMNO. Do not help minister ‘son, son in law, brother in law or anyone who have relationship with the leader. That is what we call as nepotisms. UMNO must stop cronyism and corruption in party in order to get back support from the people.

Now its depend to Najib to make it right again. But as Malay and Malaysia which one you prefer?Malay Supremacy or UMNO Supremacy?.

Zaid Ibrahim: Aung San Suu Kyi of Malaysia?

Suddenly the former law minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has become the focus of mass media to withdraw from contesting the deputy president of PKR then resigned all his position in party. What is more surprising, he announced out of PKR and intends to form a new political party.

I really impressed Zaid’s principle to defend the truth. His agenda to against corruption, cronyism, nepotism and abuse of power are something that I should salute him. He willing to resigned his post as cabinet minister under Abdullah Badawi premiership when BN government took action against MP Seputeh Teresa Kok, Raja Petra Kamaruddin and a journalist from Chinese newspaper. Zaid definitely did not agreed police and Internal Security Ministry arrested those individuals. When Zaid served as Minister in Prime Minister Department, who holds portfolio of law, he tried to reform the legal and judicial system. For him, some of acts should be reviewed such as Internal Security Act (ISA) and others acts considered to be undemocratic and unjust.

From the beginning I had thought that it was too early for Zaid to contest number two post in the party. Yes. He has right to contest in the name of democracy but should he do so while he was in PKR not even five years? Zaid should be patient before deciding to run for any post. He just joined PKR upon PKR appears sound with Pakatan Rakyat (PR). Intent Zaid wants to reform and establish democracy in PKR is something to be supported. But when he claimed that PKR party election marred by fraud and abuse as if he was so good. Zaid could not prosecute himself because he does not look clean while he was in UMNO. However, I do not like to compare Zaid Ibrahim with other former PKR leaders who had left party. Maybe they decided to quite from PKR for certain problems. But it was too sad when Zaid did not take this opportunity to become the future leader of PKR.

I really feel sad when he decided to leave party. However, I respect his principle to against the corruption and abuse of power. I shall thank to Zaid because becoming such a good leader with obvious agenda. Zaid probably want to be like Aung Sang Syu Kyi who recently was released from house detention from the military junta Myanmar. They also like have something in common. They are struggling for democracy in the country. Although Myanmar has embarked on electoral system, but claimed some parties that the elections ware full of irregularities. This is where similarities between Zaid and Aung San Suu Kyi. But the difference between Zaid and Suu Kyi is she went to jail because of political reasons but Zaid never go to jail because of the same reasons.

Now Zaid was outside from BN and PR. I do not support his personal political struggle but I support his efforts to democratize politic in Malaysia. Hopefully he is in the right track. I am sure Zaid Ibrahim is not easily given up. He has strong spirit. Even if he loses in struggle for political power but personally, he is also a winner.

Real Things about Women’s East Coast

It such been a long time I did not update my blog right here. Perhaps I prefer to more concentrate in my Malay blog which is I have a lot of things to write in limited time. Besides that, My English is not very well. However, I will try to make my English become more excellent so that I also could focus in this blog.

This time I want to express my view about women’s East Coast. I write down this issue not to blame any East Coast women personally but this is what I observe and think. I do not intend to make personal attack to anyone here. This is just my point of view. Why East Coast women? What is the matter with them? East Coast in Malay Peninsula refers to Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan. One of causes I write about this matter because my friends who not the Terengganu’s people asked me about Terengganu’s people attitude especially women. In this post, I would like to focus women from my state Terengganu. I research about East Coast women randomly. In my point of view, they are not openness especially form Terengganu.

Why I stated like that? Based on my experience with East Coast girls, they are hardly to captivate. Started from my school until to university, Terengganu girls are difficult to be closed. Frankly, most of women’s East Coast is so pretty but the problem is they are so complicated. I tried to “usha” some of them but failed. Majority of them tied with Eastern value and Islamic culture where they have to take care of their dignity and pride. They thought that my action was against the Islamic values. It seem like I made something wrong. I faced a lot the kind of girls from East Coast. They were similarly having the same situation. They always claim that “let’s Allah decide what is the best for us” or “I do not interested about this thing” and any other excuses.

What I observed that East Coast women especially from my state prefer to be opened with the guy out from their state. Many of them easily get couple from West coast or East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak). Some of them also did not walk the talk. Suddenly, they became liberal and could make relationship when they met the guy from other state specifically not from East Coast. This is what I saw in university. This is also happen to girls especially when they come from religious school in Terengganu. I came from religious school. I tried to captivate some of girl in my school but many of them claimed that “couple” was “haram” or forbade in Islam. However, once they became as university student even in Islamic university they have already forgot their “fatwa”. I do not want to give opinion against Islam teaching. I am afraid if someone accuses me that I try to be ulama. But what I hate is, when they become hypocrite and break their principle.

It is big different if I compare Terengganu with other states. If they came from Johor, Perak, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur and so on. I could communicate with the girls from other states easily and openly. They can be friend with anyone. I thought I knew women from other states better than mine. Honestly, the girls from other states are easier to captivate than Terengganu. They easy to give phone number to me. In other words, girls from out of Terengganu are easier to flirt and captivate than Terengganu’s girls.

After all, women or girl from Terengganu should change the way of thinking and stop pretending. I know what I write down here is not represent the rest of them. I am just telling based on my experience. I hope I could find someone from my state and she must be open minded and liberal thinking.

This is just my view based on my experience. Do not be offended.

A New Agenda as A New President

Since I had became as university student,i did not get involved actively with any club or association of Universiti Utara Malaysia. When I was in first semester,I joined International Affairs Management(INTAFF)Society and Political Science Association.but then I thought these associations became bored. No interesting activities. The second semester I joined Public Speaking Club.In the begining,it very excited but sooner or later I knew that there are a lot of debate competitions that I could not give hundred percent commitment while I also get involved with Rakan Masjid Bukit Kachi UUM activities. After my friend became as Political Science Association President,he appointed me as Excutive Council of Career.

Unfortunely,he did not want to hold that post too long and decided to resign because of joining PALAPES.I did not agree when he has decide to resign. But he still with his decision. After he resigned,I was elected as a new President of Political Science Association.first of all,I refused to accept this post and I suggested Norzaiful Zainal as successor but Norzaiful refused and supported me as new president. The advisor of this association, Madam Siti Zubaidah Ismail also agreed.

Now I have to focus and give commitment to this association.I think that I would hold this post just for one semester. My main agenda in Political Science Assosiation is to give knowledge to university student about politic and more spesific about campus politic.Other than that,I want to increase the membership of association,to gain a lot of awards and to held any benefit activity for student.

Long live to Political Science Association!!
