Dig this Tele. Actually-- it's not a Telecaster, but a G & L 'ASAT'. It's got a real sweet paint-job-- the essence of which i attempted to capture in the super-saturated 'shop job i've done one it [uh... whatever, eh?].

it's a cool guitar though-- rather an icon. reminds me of this cat, Mark Ross: totally great blues player who toured much of our planet as guitarist for Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band, who were 1-part canadian cannabarter, 1-part Soul Woman w/ dues for the Blues, and all parts sick. grab a copy of anything by them (if you can get your hands on it. i've seen copies this place they call amazon... some on-line record store i guess...). But-- yo! i've played that axe-- the tele there in the picture, on stage w/ Mr Ross one fair night in a basement Saloon, on the corner of Heister and College Avenue. it was a great moment. this image calls upon such a fond recollection from time to time.
