What manner of miracle
happened there?

I knew not whether
'twas Hermit's prayer
or the brightening Hope
all in the air that promised
better dream to share.

Surely now I was to be cured
of the curse
that 'trammeled me?

To be at last on land from sea
praising again the Trinity
I hurried toward Verse 130.

...but for the Ancient Rhymer the voyage will have to start again because TAR must Parody the entire misadventure, in order to receive the "No Bell Opera Prize For Immensely Long Parody Poems (NOPFIMLPP)".

No Bell is awarded. Only a disbelieving jaw-dropping "he-did-whaaaatttt?" expostulation. And if you've ever been exposed to one of those then you'll know it's the sound of sigghhhh-lengths from an Award Board.
