My wife, my sister and my brother-in-law being kept at a respectful distance by a small group of sheep. Devon coast, England, summer 2008.And here's the music that was going through my head at the time...

Wow. That piece of music is not something for radio, is it?

Anyway, that movie is, as you say, very peculiar. To say the least. I saw it back in the 80s, and somebody afterward asked me how I had liked it. I told them "I feel like the brain cells in my brain have been rearranged." And I didn't mean it in a good way. As for the ending, it mystified me.
I've always wanted to see his Gothic about Bryon and Shelley and the group. But it's not exactly common fare even on cable. If I were serious about seeing it I would have to buy it I guess.
Speaking of very strange movies, did you ever see one called Liquid Sky ??? Whoa! I liked that one, though, even though it was bizarre as [bleep!].
