The Wedding-Guest,
his mind undone, unsettled,
nettled by the sun,
or the tale of
The Mariner's frightful run,
muttered "Weddings should be fun!
but I am pulled to Verse 141!"

The yellow stuff that hits the fan
must find a victim when it can.

It flieth in the face of reason,
but fly it doth - in any season.

The Wedding-Guest must have his share
because of Fate or "Some One Up There".

Don't sweat this thing - or ask me why
the mountains don't fall into the sky.

Such questions are too large for me
(I'm a bear of little brain, you see).
