Such a pleasant day

cool weather, happiness, relaxing on saturday

Saturday, August 1st, early afternoon. The windows are wide open, the air conditioning is off. The cat is sitting on my leg and there is a gentle rain slapping through the trees by the side of the house. It currently 75 F, 15 degrees cooler than usual for this day and the temperature is actually dropping from the 78 degrees registered this morning.

It's hard to think of anything that could improve my current condition.

It's lovely here today, too, Richard. We haven't see and average high temperature in over a month. We've seen tremendous amounts of water, as well. Our grass remains green, and need to be mowed weekly. A most unusual month!

Richard, has come a frog floater here in the last two hours. Still thundering and raining and lightening, and I believe I heard some hail on the roof earlier. "Rain, rain, go away....."

We got that rain this morning, then clear skies, low humidity, and high 70's/low 80's temps.

Clouded back up now, but supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow.
