Stunning display of magnolia petals - on and off the trees in Forest Park today. A spring display but it felt like summer - 79 F!

I went with our children to view the magnolias here at a local arboretum afraid they'd be gone! but, they were just starting to come out... not a grove of pinks like this, however!

great suggestion! we had much wind and rain today, so some have undoubtedly blown away, but others will come forth yet. I enjoy the Umbrella Magnolias which bloom later. they are a fun bunch to see.
