This is a sad day indeed. I simply couldn't hold out against the competition. I just...I don't know what to say...
I'm still hoping for a chance for Tor's 500 NOK bonus, but I must admit defeat for the main competition. I'm sorry if I've let anyone down.
I will update the charts tomorrow.

Competition is the act of striving against another force for the purpose of achieving dominance or attaining a reward or goal, or out of a biological imperative such as survival. Competition is a term widely used in several fields, including biochemistry, ecology, economics, business, politics, and sports. Competition may be between two or more forces, life forms, agents, systems, individuals, or groups, depending on the context in which the term is used.
It seems we have had a long run recently, with no contestant dropping out in a full week. I've updated the charts to reflect this uhh...lack of change?
On the one-hand, I would like to gloat in my success thus far, but am quickly silenced by my lack of confidence. Perhaps it is only a matter of time until I shall again meet the razor.

It's a sad time when you see someone bow out of a competition due to lack of ability to perform. Judging by the photo albums, I can sympathise.
I've taken the liberty of updating the OMC charts to reflect this drastic change:

I have no votes in the poll! Look at the photo on the main page of this blog. That is me two years ago! And do I not have a full and impressively sexy mustache?
Is this because I was out of the office today preparing for the much anticipated launch of Opera Mini globally and was therefore not photographed? I suspect the conspiracy runs deep among some of the other competitors! A former officer and a future gentleman, I will not reveal who I think is manipulating the polls, but I have a pretty good idea.
And for the record - Sagar basically had a mustache on day 2. He is a man if I ever saw one.
And Brian, please see me in my office tomorrow at 0900 hours sharp.
PS. It is a little known fact that Brian used to work with political polling in Florida before he started working at Opera.

So this marks the third day of mustached growth. Although many of us have a good start, none looks terribly obvious to a passer-by. I'm happy to say that so far, there has been no report of fowl play. There has been a post in the Mustache Forum that peanuts are able to help hair growth. Although it's likely just an off-hand, nonsensical remark, I thought it better to play it safe. This lunch was less of a salad and more a bowl of peanuts with salad dressing.
If you haven't seen, there is a poll where everyone can vote for who they think will be the ultimate victor. Check it out
here.
New photos have been pictures have been posted in the Photo Album.

Revolutions and profound new thoughts begin with only short exchanges between friends about ideals and dreams of grandeur. And thus, it has begun. Allow me to introduce you to the Opera Mustache Club (OMC).
