Kaleidoscope!!

There are many people from different nationalities in myopera. You are bound to come up with a language that you might not know. Even on the web you may come across such web pages. But you can translate a webpage with out actually going to google translate page. There is a very easy way of doing this directly from address bar in Opera.

Step 1: Go to Google Translate page

Step 2: Select 'Detect Language' for the Translate from and select 'English' for the Translate in to (or which ever language you wish the pages to be converted in to )



Step 3: Right click in the text area in the page and select create search. Enter the keyword as 'gt' (or your own key word) and then click ok.




Now in the address bar before the URL of website you are visiting just add 'gt' (or your key word) with space after it and the translated page will load!!

You can also put the key word and then the text you want to translate in the address bar to get the translated text!!

A few years earlier:
Watched the movie Minority Report and wondered if that kind of technology is possible at all.
A few months before:
Watched the demonstration of Microsoft's surface table and knew we are moving in that direction.
A few days later from the day I watched MS's video:Watched Sixth Sense Technology and got my mind blown away. Realised we are going to move past Minority Report soon!!

One cant imagine todays world with out the wheel!!

Wheel in general refers to things that turn like steering wheel,flywheel,ship wheels.. and so on. Look around us and check how many things are there that turn. Imagine a world without any those wheels,fans,turbines,gears(most of them inspired from the wheel-it means no cars,trains,planes -translates to no transportation, OK boats might be an exception!!). I bet its quite difficult to do that!! No wonder wheel is considered one of the oldest and most important inventions of mankind.

Earlier wheels used to be wooden disks with hole for axle something like the ones in Flintstones.
Still they were not used often as there were no smooth roads at that time. A wheel may look quite simple to us. But at the time of its invention it was very difficult to make and balance a wheel and so for many,many and many years people just walked on earth.

The spoked wheel,the common form found today was invented near 2000 BC. It was later used in carts and chariots. But not until the 20th century when the less developed areas more or less had roads that the wheel wasn't adopted widely, as we see it today!!
