Is social media pre-designed to lead people in the directions we are seeing as in Egypt et al. Or is this a natural process, a result of years of oppression and tyranny come to an end?

So I finally got to activate and start using my Opera account. Don't know why but I am so excited at this development. I mean I already have a thriving social life on Twitter and Facebook. But knowing that I'm now a part of the Opera community after so many years of benefitting from their various products is a very cool and wonderful thing for yours truly. I look forward to meeting other cool opera users and fanatics on here. Pause for now. Cheers.
