Ararat imagery, and not consulting imaging physicists knowledgeable of the target characteristics, Dr. Gates' ignorance (and incompetence) of the Ark research resulted in a 1994 termination of the confirmation of Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat. This occurred while the revealing imagery of the ship was even then available to the general public. The world destruction which the ship attests to apparently did not register with Mr. Gates as pertinent to current affairs.

My involvement pertained to application of image processing techniques applied to available imagery of the ship. These events followed current SECDEF Dr. Robert Gates tenure (November 1991-December 1993) and his abandonment of his national security responsibilities concerning the verification and validation of the ship's position on the strato-volcano, Mt. Ararat in Eastern Turkey. That ship, as in 1994 is both a warning and a promise to this nation and the world. Dr. Gates has been derelict in obtaining correct interpretation of the imagery; probably to avoid personal and professional embarrassment. Dr. Gates may have confused historical anthropology and geophysics with the illusion of religion. The concept of religion (and the so-called separation of Church and State) is a safe way out for government employees, even at the highest levels. [/ALIGN]
Applicable: Noah's Ark Ministries International (NAMI) Field Research]. The Ark was stated to be, and the Simmons--Arslan photo confirms that it is, located on the northeastern section of the strato-volcano, very near the summit, northwest of the Ahora Gorge. The ship has been photographed by Dr. Ahmet Arslan in 1989 under direction and funding of Mr. Robin Simmons. One of the frames (number 2) has been extensively image-processed here at BSMRA, which resulted in extraction of the ship from the ambient background. The image was eventually forwarded to CIA and the Geospatial Intelligence Agency from here. The objective of forwarding the Ark information was to give the Direcfor of Central Intelligence (DCI) an actual processed Ark photo, and to correct the widely distributed (and diversion-oriented) Mt. Ararat "anomaly" photos, made famous by Dr. Porcher Taylor of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. The Mt. Ararat anomaly is a geophysical, and possibly modified cultural rock formation, located approximately 1,000 feet below the ship, in a southeast direction. The anomaly is on the edge of the caldera plateau, being first photographed by the new CIA in 17 June 1949 by a USAF B-29 bomber crew on a mission. STU-III (Secured Telecommunication Unit)is a family of secure telephones introduced in 1987 by the National Security Agency (NSA) for use by the United States government, its contractors, and its allies. STU-III desk units looked very much like typical office telephones; plugged into standard telephone wall jacks and could make calls to any ordinary phone user. However, when a call is placed, like the call placed in 1998 to me at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Laboratory regarding a “a boat on top of Mt. Ararat”, from another STU-III unit at Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)/National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), one caller can ask the other to initiate secure transmission (or, colloquially, to "go secure"). We then press a button on our telephones together and, after a 15 second delay, our call is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping...in this case discussing Noah's Ark. This is precisely what occurred in 1998 at NSWC Dahlgren Lab as we (DIA/NRO and myself at NSWC)discussed a ship near the summit of Mt. Ararat. The implications for international security is immense. It is precisely the magnitude of the danger to this planet that I am convinced Dr. Robert Gates, current Secretary of Defense, has been seriously derelict in his responsibilities to defense intelligence. He has indirectly endorsed the concept of replacing real national threat with evolution and religion. Nothing is more important to this world (including the current wars with which the United States is involved) than Noah's Ark and the planetary destruction of life that it reveals.
We should remember that neither evolution nor religion killed nearly all fauna and flora on Earth some 4500 years ago. This act was implemented by a Person. This same Person has threatened to destroy the entire planet again; the next time by fire. And it should be noted that He has never known to be involved with a bluff (as the global sedimentary record makes abundantly clear). Planetary lithospheric destruction is the ultimate in danger for both national and international defense; the neglect of which is an exceedingly serious crime for personal and professional (embarrassment)avoidance reasons.Termination of the DCI-CIA Noah's Ark imagery search project, the discovery of which would clearly warn people nationally and internationally of an existing global threat, is at best gross negligence committed by a high United States Defense Department official.
