Approximately 4500 years ago the Earth suffered a catastrophic lithospheric fracture; the result of which generated millions of cubic kilometers of super-heated (>538 Celsius) water. This water ejected through primary fractures and associated transform fault zones and is readily seen, for example, on Google Earth. These physically coupled catastrophic processes (fractures + hydrothermal vent ejecta) comprise the Global Fractures and Hydrothermal Venst(GFs/HTVs) Combined Complex System. Exceedingly hot waters, although greatly reduced, remain in efflux today along the globally distributed fracture zones and are termed hydrothermal vents. In combination with increased solar radiance and the collapsing geomagnetic field (leading to induced electrical current's joule heating in the geo-core); all are major contributors to increased evaporation rates and the warming of the Earth's oceans and atmosphere. This is Global Warming; anthropogenic heating being entirely negligible (Al Gore's Nobel Prize notwithstanding). It is in this context that it should be remembered that the primary greenhouse gas (GHG) is water vapor (H2O), not carbon dioxide (CO2) and/or methane (CH4); although these GHGs are involved in planetary temperature increases. CO2 and CH4 increases result from heating of the global continental shelves. [The question always arises in this study: Would Someone actually kill nearly all life on planet? The sedimentary record renders this question rather irrelevant.]

The lithospheric thermal destruction of the Earth's crust is presented in this section, as it has direct bearing on decisions of national security. The occurrence of the global fracture zones, including the primary and transform faults, resulted in the near destruction of all life on this planet some 4500 years ago.The .5- 2.0 million cubic feet cargo barge(Noah's Ark) positioned at the 16,300 ft. altitude on Mt. Ararat strato-volcano, should have provided the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) far more than just the cursory interest he displayed in 1994 while at CIA. DCI Director Robert Gates initiated Noah's Ark investigations on Mt. Ararat, but Dr. Gates imprudently allowed the project to be shelved. Robert Gates' priorities should have centered first on national and international security requirements; and secondly on the critical implications for geophysics and biology of the planet. The generation of giant cavitation processes are expected to have occurred during and in the recession phases of the Genesis Flood. As temperatures of the oceans increased through global rupture of the lithospheric crust, the high velocity and temperature hydrodynamics rapidly resulted in hydrostatic pressures falling below the ambient water's vapor pressure. This of course resulted in extremely high pressure bubble collapse around globally distributed submersed rock. The result is then rock reduced to various forms of clays, shale and sandstones, followed by lithification as a function of time.[/B][/ALIGN]
Globally Distributed Calcium Carbonate Beds of the World's Continental Shelves:
[CaCO3]On a related issue,hydrothermal vent complexes exuding methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) are located globally along the Global Fracture System, as previously stated. However methane and carbon dioxide are also in very high efflux along the global distribution of calcium carbonate beds of the world's continental shelves. Although the primary greenhouse gas is water vapor-H2Ovapor(not carbon dioxide-CO2) , it is true that most of the rising concentrations of methane and carbon dioxide is exuded from the global distribution of continental shelves. In the case of carbon generation (which incidentally wrecks the C12 denominator in the radiometric equation [C14 specimen/C12 ambient], calcium carbonate dissociates in to calcium oxide and carbon dioxide as: CaCO3 to CaO + CO2.
