Overcast start, but it soon brightened up. We decided to go to Richborough Roman Fort, Brian kindly drove us and Celia provided a picnic which we partook sat by the river in Sandwich.
A nice small market town with olde worlde charm. Churches date back to 1300 and shambles type buildings with a walk round the town on the old walls. Back to a drink in the sun b4 tea.
The fort dates back to AD43. Bad news lost at Boules.
