It's time to show off your mile long legs with DENIM SHORTS. Such a huge streetstyle trend! Celebs everywhere (feathered below: Hilary Duff, Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton, Kate Moss, Nicole Richie and Erin Wasson) are wearing a pair of cut-off, ripped and rolled up denim shorts. Notice the length of shorts: at the knee or just above. The freshest way to wear shorts this season is with gladiators and Converse sneakers, not the traditional flip-flops. The right footwear will bring to you a look more polished

none of these were at the knee or just above. they are all short shorts...i don't understand your description.
