Indeed it shows the capabilities of berly, and it is a very fancy desktop. But I just can't use this kind of desktop, its full of eye candy and I will get bored after using it for long and find it irritating.
Anyway, it is cool to show off to friends who actually bought windows vista or think of buying windows vista.
I take the entire screencast video using xvidcap under ubuntu edgy. The video shows of using mplayer with 2 different video output. The video is quite blur after uploaded to youtube.
First of all I type
mplayer -vo x11 filename.flv
Try to make it fullscreen my press 'f'
Later I change x11 to gl2, and make a fullscreen again.

Now after you downloaded, you try to play using xine or mplayer and figure out that there are no sound. This problem exist until today. There is a work around solution, convert flv to mpg format. With ffmpeg, the conversion is simple. Let say you download a file temp.flv and you would like to convert it to mpg, you can consider bellow command line.
