Unleashing innovation
New technologies demand new skills. In the emerging knowledge-based economy, the wealth of a nation is generated by knowledge workers. Competitiveness relies on effective development, utilization and mobilization of human capital.
In Malaysia, there's a vast reservoir of untapped world-class ICT talents. To realize the unrealized potential of the country's knowledge resources, MSC Malaysia K-Workers Development Institute (MSC Malaysia KDI) is established.
MSC Malaysia KDI is an initiative of MSC Malaysia. It plays a pivotal role in promoting and positioning Malaysia as a regional hub for ICT talents.
Origin of the Institute
In September 2005, YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia unveiled the concept of MSC Malaysia KDI.
Sounds cool huh, gov helps to train ICT talents, my friend send me the link, we can actually apply for it and ask the company claim partially the training cost from gov, cool isn't it?
Lets check what course they have in this Jul - Sep, http://kdi.msc.com.my/KDI/documents/PEP%20training%20calender%20Jul-Sept%20Final%20v2.pdf
WTF! 50% cisco 50% microsoft!
Where is RHCE? where is LPI? there is the rest of the certification?
Check further, eh they have open source training stated at "Professional Enhancement Programme (PEP)" but why only ms and cisco training is in Jul - Sep?
Oh, anyone interested on RHCE? lets email them to see whether they have it in future or not.
