Emotion is like water. Soft, transparent and lovely. But so much emotion in a close heart is dangerous as so much water behind the dam is.
Because if the dam is broken such a soft, transparent and lovely water will be a dangerous flood without any control over it.
Water without any dam is an always flowing river.
Remains soft and transparent which can find its way and beside it, makes beautiful water falls and views.

I really like this poem which you have written. The thing which I thought to be most attractive about this poem of yours is the way you have linked and created an association of poetic verses between the water and the dam.

Emotion is a range of matters,not just soft and lovely,distress,anger,hate,events of all manner can be emotional,people assume that love is the only emotion,it is not,we have many emotions,and not all are transparent,some are locked away in our subconscious,but are working behind the scenes all the time.,,keep well,,kyle. :smile:
