About me

Originally from a small village not all that far north from Örebro in Sweden, I moved to Norway to work for Opera software in Oslo, Norway in January of 2000.

My work

I re-joined Opera Software as a Core Technology Developer in 2009, after having worked at Tandberg Data for a year and a half.

Why I choose the Opera browser

I originally switched to Opera back at version 2.12 because I loved the MDI interface, being annoyed by all the top-level windows that Netscape Navigator created. Also, I didn't like the UI of Netscape, and just preferred Opera's. When I moved over to using Linux as my main operating system it meant that I had to switch back to Netscape as my main browser, which was quite painful.

I've used Opera exclusively on all my systems since around version 6.0 for Linux, by that time I was employed by the company, so I didn't really have any excuse. But nevertheless I don't need an excuse, it just is the best damn browser around.
