Actually, I’m buying myself a used phone this time. My P990i is feeling old and antiquated, and
cannot even run the new Opera 9.5 beta. And I don’t feel like upgrading to the Xperia, at least not while
most comments about it say that it is too slow (plus that it does run Windows). I might get one of those newfangled
Android phones if they ever get released. But for the time being, I like to stick with Sony Ericsson and UIQ, so I am getting myself a
used P1i instead. They can be found at reasonable prices now, and it ought to work as a “wait and see” phone until I can really decide…

I guess it was just waiting to happen. After seeing ads all around town for mobile phone and calling cards targetted towards immigrants from various countries such as Pakistan and Poland,
Tele2 is now targetting Swedes. You do not have to have had an income in Norway, nor even a Norwegian personal number, just a job contract and a Swedish personal number.
Not bad. And I really do like their idea of having the same prices in Sweden and Norway. I would probably have had a Tele2 subscription by now if they hadn’t originally said that the deal for Swedish calls was time-limited (it was supposed to end by December 2006 originally, I believe). Plus that they have a minimum monthly charge, something my current operator,
OneCall does not (and I have as of yet not been invoiced, and I have had the subscription since Easter).

Yes, he
does work for Opera, but that doesn't stop him from keeping an objective eye when writing comparative articles, just like he did for the famous
browser speed comparison tests.
