For My Own Amusement
Got this email...and I just thought I'd share it with you.
Question:
Imagine you are in Africa . You have been tied hanging on a tree with a rope anchored on the ground, a candle is slowly burning the rope, and a lion is waiting for you to drop and be his lunch.Your survival hinges on the rope staying intact, there is no one around to help you. So what do you do?
Sing a Happy Birthday song!!!

Tuition Teacher
I’m not sure when I am exactly going to start teaching tuition but I do know it’s sometime soon. Somehow the thought of it gets me all panicky, what if my students turn out to be monsters? What if they hate me? And what if I enter my class and this is all I see…
Or this…
…I might end up closing the door and running away…
Sure I’ve done peer teaching with my course mates but my course mates are good “students” y’know…they listen and of course, in a click of a finger they’ll instantly understand what in the world I was talking about. But now, I am teaching real students…people that can actually hate me and complain that I am making no sense.
The only experiences I have with real students are with my lil brother and Ed’s younger sister. Those are hardly teaching experience material.
I am sinking…

Family, me
The trip to Labuan was okay. Nothing fancy but I had a nice time.
There she is our ride, Anna.
Departed Brunei at exactly 8 a.m. and arrived around 9.30 a.m.
Upon arrival to Labuan guess what greeted us? A rainbow…isn’t that amazing
After arriving, we went to find a hotel to rest before we go shopping & rest some more before Anna brings us home.
The view below the hotel

Would you believe around 3 the electricity in the hotel went dead? Not wanting to face the heat, we left for the terminal. And guess what? The place was already flooded with people!!! We queued and after queuing for quite awhile the man told us we have to change our ticket at the ticket counter (which is like almost at the far end of the building) and pay our tax. Dad managed to settle everything at almost 4.24! I was in panic mode so I dragged my little brother and ran for the queue, fortunately Anna haven’t left but the seats were almost full pack. Only then did I learn, they have over-booked Anna. So me, dad, mom & little brother had to find separate seats. Hai~ so kesian hehehe.
And I went through all this trouble for…

Kit Kat's gotta love `em

general, me
Sometimes we forget of our blessings and we keep on wanting more. We never bother saying thank you or please for the smallest things and we complain when people have no manner. We rarely draw a line to differentiate what we need or what we want and always ending up buying everything we can get our hands on. We want to succeed but we stop working hard. We forget to reflect on ourselves but we always see other people’s flaw. We know our weaknesses….
yet through it all…
We never learn.
My resolution for this year:
1. To be thankful
- Even if I fall into a longkang, mind you I’m a klutz, I’ll not complain…I’ll just be thankful and say it’s a blessing in disguise….ommm~~ ( Ok la, maybe not that grateful but you know I’ll try to be thankful-and-not-take-things-for-granted kind of thankful)
2. Find a part time job
- Might apply to be a tuition teacher to earn extra cash and in case after my graduation things don’t go as plan. Key word might.
3. Less argument
- I’ll try not to pick the smallest kind of fight with anyone in that matter. Sometimes, I blow things way out of proportion and well, it sucks.
4. Lastly: make up for last year’s resolution
- Enough said *puts self in corner puts hands on face* don’t look at me.

Hello 2008 how are you? I’m extremely happy that I’m breathing & living to celebrate your arrival and the departure of your friend 2007. Dear 2008, I hope you’ll be kinder and better than 2007, although your friend 2007 did leave me with a lot of memories, mostly good ones. 2007 taught me to be more responsible and it taught me to be more open to my family. Most of all, an hour before 2007 departed, my dad message me a happy new year and that made me happier than anything.
2008, may this year be less about ourselves but more about other people. Less taking and more giving. We have been selfish long enough. I have been selfish long enough. 2008, may you be filled with lots of loves & laughs, and may you teach all of us wondrous things that we will never forget and that will change us to be better people.
Welcome 2008, goodbye 2007…
Much Love,
Nas.

school, For My Own Amusement, me
I’ve decided that I will tone this blog down from all of my personal stuff, might do it every once in a while but for now this blog will be free from personal issues
Well okay the bonus season is here, tis the season to shop!! Even Hua Ho Tg Bunut is full pack. And me, still a student, is just standing at the corner watching people shop cause I don’t have bonuses
Boo you!!!
And oh… I went to UBD to check out the supplementary results & to my amazement they have taken it down from all the notice boards and there I was like a mouse in a maze looking for cheese, only to find out that the cheese has been eaten and all that’s left is...cheese poop left by other mice. I don’t want cheese poopss! I want a whole chunk-of-cheese!!!!!!
I guess I’ll just have to wait for the results to come out.

What is it with men and doors?
Every time my brother enters my room, he’ll leave the door open, takes what he needs or he’ll bugged me for a few minutes and then leave the room…leaving the door unclose.
The same goes to my Dad; he’ll enter the room, watch what I’m watching or talk to me about certain things and then leave…again, leaving the door open.
Nowadays my little brother is following these gentlemens' footsteps. He’ll open the door wide open, comes in and plays with his toys, minding his own business and within minutes he’ll leave. And yes you’ve guessed it…my door will still be wide open.
Is this like a wide spread epidemic that I know nothing of? Or men are just not meant to close doors! That’s why sometimes they even pee with the doors open!
