Defeated

“Commonly, people believe that defeat is characterized by a general bustle and a feverish rush. Bustle and rush are the signs of victory, not of defeat. Victory is a thing of action. It is a house in the act of being built. Every participant in victory sweats and puffs, carrying the stones for the building of the house. But defeat is a thing of weariness, of incoherence, of boredom. And above all of futility.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupery

As simple as I see it, my life has always been loaded with errs, some of them were irreversible, others penalized me TIME, effort with little pain hard to cure but must be endured. Yet I'm still trying to make sense out of all the mess I've made of my life; only the belief that I hold tight into would take my hand all along the tumbling march I lead...
That and much more, is wOrth living. That is the source of pride and accomplishment ONE lives for.

yes that's what I was thinking
It's feeling that we lost with time
think more like that when we're young
but it's a good way to be

Again this notion of time being something that is in little amount. think now about how much of something, but in the quality of the situation. was it well spent, if so than it does not matter the amount.

Victory also comes with a heavy price, you must attain it to begin with, this to many seems to be the difficult part. but i can assure anyone upon this earth that, obtaining victory is but the first step. once attained, one must keep that same level of performance that it took to obtain the victory in the first place. if this is not done than the victory obtained will not last, and the process must start all over again.

but to relate this to time, if it takes a life-time to obtain a victory there is little to be had, unless one is to enjoy the process of always working toward a goal, if this is true than i will humbly accept that answer. however if a victory is to mean something in the mind of the victor than he/she must not stop working once victory is obtained even if it takes the rise and fall of many suns and moons to keep it alive. and it is because of this that i can wake every morning and know that the day before me is worth everything, and i know that in every action there must be some reason behind it. as so not to waste any effort. i also know well in my mind that the last day was easier that the day to come, but this does not bring despair, no. this brings encouragement, i ask myself "am i up to this task?"

well, as you said dear friend; victory comes with heavy price... it brings pleasur but hence a great burdon lies beneath.. one needs to be that keen to reduce the pain that may follow his victory (upon his entourage if not upon him too).
nice reading your comment ALLEN.. keep around. thanks a lot.
