Use your virtual Dropbox!

Even between my virtual operating systems Dropbox works perfectly, likewise it does between my Ubuntu and Vista after a reboot and their VirtualBox (see previous blog entry) virtual content. The content of the DropBoxes that I have assigned on each OS is perfectly in sync.
In Ubuntu and having Windows-7 on the VirtualBox I even have a further advantage: multiple concurrently active desktops, screens or 'sub-computers'. The invention of those multiple screens that concurrently run, is a highly efficient advantage of Linux, limited only by the amount of RAM-memory that I own. While I write this on the Opera browser, my neighbouring screen runs FireFox with the YouTube movie that I intend to put upfront in this text. Yes, I like that movie. So I like to copy its URL into the place above... switching my screen from YouTube back now to here using another split-second to paste the entry in place. Using DropBox in a similar way between Ubuntu and Windows-7 running in VirtualBox I have an immediate sync between both radically different systems which I can reach immediately by flipping the screens again to the resp. Dropbox folders. The limitation is: Dropbox uses the Internet as a go-between. However: that makes its possibilities even greater. Work "in the Cloud" is the way this world is heading!

Qlue: it looks to me somewhat similar at first glance, but it isn't. Then in DropBox you sync a folder (an archive) with subfolders or files on your computer with another computer as if you have a LAN at hand. So, when you put something in the Dropbox (see the new image above of my computer, with the frog) of the XP Pro version running on VirtualBox, I immediately see that (provided an Internet connection) in my Linux Dropbox folder. But I also can make material 'public' and show that to you, so an office can sent to specific customers sales secrets...
I need not upload things. I only need to download Dropbox on my computer(s), enter for each folder one time my same entry/login code and all are connected. That goes faster than writing this and working with it is as if on a LAN.
I forgot your link url to dropbox: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=7QmCUDHpNzE
