FACING MYSTERY

Everyone feels it - but it is another thing to FACE it

FACING MYSTERY

, , , , , , ,

Call it existence. Or call it reality. You may call it life, too. It hides a secret which is difficult to grasp. But everybody feels it, seeing a new-born baby or listening to the roar of the sea.

Call it the reason of existence. Or call it the meaning of life. I frequently call it beauty. And I know it is consuming fire.

I face it, friends. Yes, „in a mirror dimly”, but I am really facing God.

He is ecstatic reality. Different from all things. He is happiness itself.

I am here not to debate. I am here to be with you.

For me, you are a marvel and another occasion to face God's mystery.

Gabor,

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog!
My family name means as much as "Less Wood". As you know, when people bring down trees, they shout "Timber". This (and because it is a real first name though used rarely) in combination with our family name would be easy and simple to remember although it is original. His full name is Timber Yurék.
Fate is indeed like destiny. In Dutch we have this name like Lot or Lotte. In English they have Faith or Fate. The last one is more for Australian people. And her full name is Fate Victoria. You can imagine why.
We choose these names because they are both very original. I have been working in education for ten years (now ICT specialist) and with every name I have connotations. Not with these.

Warmest regards from Holland,

Thijs
