Is there anyone that you can go higher up? It is very true though they take your money whether you have service or not. Can you use the fact that you have been waiting all these time for an engineer to get out of the contract? Whether you read the small print or not they should still provide you with service. That is why you are paying them. Maybe you should put the fear of God in them. Be smart about it, be 1 step ahead of them, come up with something that maybe will move them faster.

Hi, I have been on that quest! You just get the run around, I just wont sing up with them when my contract runs out. The rest of this is just my opinion.

In the shape of things(World!)I feel a bit petty about me not having my internet but in the UK/USA you get used to having certain things in your life!

As for the fear of God, does anyone fear much these days, especially when so many of us have it so good? As for God, people don't think much of God these days I find?!

The ones I know in UK/USA just use God as a means to there own end$$$$$$. Just look a the UK Royals and its Government. I wont be part or believe in there so-called God££££££!

If I could ask God for one thing it would come at a price to us all!

Sorry if I got U upset by mention those things, when I said "Put the fear og God" I meant it in a way so to speak that you would do everything, even telling them that if they do not fix the problem in a timely manner you will get a lawyer [because U R paying your bill and you are not receiving adequate service] I did not want to get political with this. I just wanted to help you. I myself am having issues with my computer and so far can not figure out the problem,but I'm not blaming anyone but myself. What will happen if you stop paying the bill? Will they let you off the contract?

Oh no mate none taken. You did read that I come from the UK? For myself I find the UK is bent out of shape man just as its leaders and legal systems are!

At my level we have the class order and being just a commoner you get nowhere and nothing when it comes to taking a legal stand against a corporate leader aka SKY.

SKY have some small print that says your theres till the end of time or at least till the end of your contract with them no mater how much there service sucks.

They can do as they like in the UK but I reckon they mess me about because of saying the connections they supply you in the UK are odd? If not then why send all your internet use and e-mails through AOL/USA first? and also that I'm not the administrator of my Windows PC anymore so why is this?

Sky will not talk about anything with me after I asked why would my PC get hacked, they know what I'm on about they just don't want all the UK Windows users to know that there all probably hacked like me!

I could tell you more about SKY/Government's ISP pond but its only doom and gloom! I will say this, it's not just SKY who send UK data to the USA for the Government its all the UK ISPs doing the dirty on the UK users.

I don't mind I have nothing to hide unlike the government and the UK ISPs

To really get on in England you got to "play their Game" I say its live their lie!

The hack I talk about is the one the UK Government HAVE HAD ALL THE TIME! Its there latest lie mate. All the UK users data will be monitored by on-line companies.

They make it sound like there going to start it some time soon when they do just that already.

As for your PC what system do you operate.

I got Window Vista, however I have everything connected with the cable company. T.V. Phone and the Computer. In that way I save money. I also have OPERA as a browser as a back up, alone with Explorer 8. It has to be very frustrating for you not to be able to have everything in order. I get very frustrated because I lack the knowledge of computers. I'm learning but there are times that I feel like taken everything back to the store. I wish I could be of help, but I do not know how I could help you. Unless you have an idea! So if you come up with a solution let me know, I will help you if I can.

Hi, again. I got vista but sly sky say they can only help if you use XP! Thats after they sign you up.... :-( What can you do? Nothing I find and all UK ISP's are the same old same. Scan for spyware they all tell you!!

The spyware is supplied by the ISP for the UK/USA Government I say, the connection renders your systems time useless at the level of your Bios(may sound insignificant but you now have a 00000000000000 back door that now stays in RAM)

Its ROM they change so whats up with that? they say you cant do that. Then again the UK Government tell lies I'm told but its just a rumour......

Pity opera couldn't control the data base your hooked into. UK ISP's are hacked and thats what you get off them all, a hacked connection.

What could we do? start asking what there all playing at and we are all grownups so just tell us the truth....ha ha, like there going to come clean and say yes your all hacked and we cant stop it and yes we collect all your data to send to the USA then back to the UK.

They have more chance of you getting hit by a bus so keep an eye out for ACME once you know there game.

Opera browser is the best out there I think. I also have Ubuntu Ibex 64 bit on my old PC, sounds all that and it is! you can get the FREE operating system off them "download or they'll send you a disk also free" Open source software puts windows to shame.

I believe all ISP's should know more about what there selling you and they should also cover more than just windows XP, considering SKY supply you a Unix (Linux) connection. They need some new scripts to read you when you have to call them for there so-called help!

SKY have been the worst provider I have had the misfortune of signing up with and I have tried a good few. Looking back I reckon PIPEX are the best out of all of them in the UK! PS if my reads are to long just say mate.

I wish I could do something to help you from here, however I would not know how to go about it.I just hope that things can work out for you. You just have to keep at them, however please do not get arrested., that would not be a good thing..You are right about OPERA that it is why I have it as my back up.Actually when I installed Explorer 8 I ended up with a big mess in my computer, so I had to do a major clean up. So I do hope you get everything fix soon. I did go to your blog but I did not notice it, so I guess I will have to go back and check it out again. Sky stay on top because there one of the BOYS and all them big boys look after each other,,why do you think they send the UK users data to the USA government then back again, they are all the same just playing the game I find out! I have not been in trouble for years now, if I choose to go that way again you'll get to read it in the papers this time ;-)

Operas is my default browser on Linux and Vista now I don't know how I got by with out it "I wish Opera could host its own e-mail as the SSL certificates on Yahoo are invalid because of the likes of SKY/AOL I find"

Ive seen it all on line and theres nothing I would not let you see so if they want to monitor us all at least they could sort out there end first but like I said "there are hacked and the supply us hacked connections"

I try to learn more but if I fix it for me I fix it for them and I don't want to ever help a bunch of game playing liars! They would only take the credit for what others do anyway so let them be hacked just like we all are

Have a read up on the UK Governments INTRANET if you get time what a farce untold tax payers Billions now and they still cant get that right no mater how many Billoins they pay BT to name one!

Hi, long time coming but SKY now say my routers at fault and that I cant change it online "but its not hacked" BTW they have never had it happen before. I have a feeling all the UK ISPs are the same and my sky connection is hacked as all my ISP hardware do just what skys has so much for security.

Sorry dude if you took this the wrong way! I was just saying as an update! BTW its took this long for SKY to admit there was a problem and talking to SKY has got me to talking on here but it don't take away the fact I'm not the admin of my own PC. I believe most "maybe all UK BB providers are supplying what they ain't got and we are all hacked by Asia?. I'm sorry to post it in the wrong part! Newbie errors.

The free wifi has got me intrigued because its an anyone with a PC they can use as server and a bit know how can make there own. FREE internet at home then I can go on about that dude. I need to work on boosting its signal

I think us newbies need to know I have just read new scientist article about patent zero on zombie networks WTH, I laughed my head off. I have gone on about being hacked and it turns out so is all the world, what a laugh, ALL Governments, ALL Militarys and ALL everybody's! My PC is there PC or my PC is a Patent zero shall I say, don't panic though They say there not doing anything YET! Just spamming us and they don't do much more than that.

Windows Millennium is no longer supported by Windows Update, if that's what you're trying to use.

I'm having computer issues also, however i do not know what is wrong. Even my printer is acting up I might have to shot them both
