I happened to see the sunset on the way back home from Thuan An beach with my family. I stopped and took this picture, with full excitement.

My biggest dream in my life is going abroad, to beautiful and famous countries, especially Singapore. My dream came true when I Lan and Vu (my colleagues) made a trip to Singapore last week. I was very happy when setting my feet on the VN Airlines plane which took me to Changi International Airport.

There we met Des and Defi (Lan's best friends - and now our good friends). Des bought MRT (Mass Rapit Transport) cards for us. We took the SkyTrain to go out of the Airport and went to MRT Station. It was a surprise to me that the MRT system was so modern, the MRT train was so clean.

Then Des and Defi took us to our hotel - Nava's Place. Our room was so small (we were shocked at first). We checked in quickly then followed Des to his home. His Mom was so kind, she treated us with a lot of delicious Singaporean food.

After having a big meal, we went to the Centre of Singapore where the Merlion Statue stands in the middle of Singapore river

From there, we can see the Durian Theater - the theater built in the shape of a durian

The next morning, we went to Jurong Bird Park, a big park with thousand kinds of birds, flamingo, penguin, etc. I also tried the Panorail to make a tour around the park. We stayed there until 4.pm.

After the tour, we met Defi and Des in Orchard, the busiest shopping centre in Singapore. Defi and Des took us to a Chinese restaurant. We had lots of good food.

Year-End Dinner at Lan's Before Tet, each family has a year-end dinner to say goodbye to the current year and welcome the new year. On this occasion, Lan invited me to her house and had a cozy meal with her family and two of her friends - Muoi and Hang
