Back in the UK - returning to terrible weather. HKG...while I was out there around 15-22 Celsius, such good sunny weather.
Outbound flight was full, return flight - so empty, people sprawled across 4 seats to sleep horizontally! My return luggage got labelled - heavy 25kg, but thankfully the flight was empty so i probably didn't have to pay extra, I flew out with 20kg and returned with an extra 5kg!

HKG's transport system is fast and efficient - air con on buses that tend to make me sleepy while travelling on them - slight annoyance are the inbuilt screens that pump out advertisements, mtr - fast and efficient, trams - old school!

Bought a HTC Hero - had to travel all the way out to Tung Chung to get one of these! Pretty sweet, not used all the functions on it yet, GPS and maps definitely come in handy when you're in another country, for sure. All the shops in Mongkok were out of stock for the HTC Hero...MK definitely lives up to the reputation of being so crowded, same applies to Causewaybay.

Travelling a few hours out from the more built up areas of HKG you get ocean views, beaches, mountains - transported to a different place completely - Sai Kung, Cheung Chau.
