The moon through a narrow band of cloud. When I first saw it, it was directly in the middle of the cloud-band, but I wasn't quick enough to catch it like that.

A pub on Liverpool Road in Stoke - the name appealled to me because it is in the local dialect, and because of the pun.

The A500

The A500 Queensway, finally open. Two roundabouts removed and replaced with juntions on bridges over the top of the road. This is how the road was originally planned, back in the 1970s, but legal challenges to the road being built meant that the funding ran out, and cuts had to be made. The changes are expected to help regeneration in the area, as the road can take the traffic that derelict sites near the road being re-developed will create.
